My sister booked her bridal with Sahar and five party hair and makeup for the bridal party. All 5 of us left her house unhappy.1. I told her mua I have acne red skin and I would like her to apply the green corrector - she did not have it.2. The mua did not use a disposable wand when applying our lipstick or eyeliner - completely unhygienic and disgusting.3. I showed her my outfit and the shade of pink I wanted - she handed me two ziplock bags full of lipstick, asking me to pick. I cannot precisely do swatches on my arm to figure out the right shade as I am getting ready for a wedding.4. For 2 of the girls, the mua applied lashes that did not connect the eyeliner from the corner of the eye to where the fake lashes begin. She also did not try to correct it.5. She missed several patches on my lip, and my lip liner was crooked.6. For my hair, I took extensions. The hairstylist did not seem comfortable with applying them. Instead of putting my teeka first, she did it later, creating a parting on my hair bump. In addition, you could see the hair extension clips after my hair was fully done.7. I often communicated to the MUA that I was unhappy with my look - Sahar stood beside me looking and continued scrolling on her phone. Since I am not bridal, there was no oversight or concern from her to watch over her team8. Sahar told us that 2 people could arrive at 12 and two others at 1:30. Two of us arrived at 12 - she had one of us wait 50 minutes since she still had a client.9. Instead of 1:30, one of the bridal party people was called in 1.5 hours late.10. One of our bridal party members wanted the foundation to match her skin - the mua told her that she, unfortunately does not have any dark shades to match her skin and the darkest shade she had was also pretty light. This is unacceptable - for a mua to not carry all shades of foundation - especially the darker shades when they are booking clients. This client showed at least 10 pictures to the MUA to emphasize that she wants natural makeup with the foundation to match her skin tone. The MUA assured her that the foundation will match. However, this did not happen.11. I requested Sahar that I would like to speak to her privately about my concerns - and I told her that we were unhappy with the service - before I could even finish my first sentence, she cut me off and told me I needed to stop complaining - she had never heard any complaint from any other customers and that I am picky." I found this very disappointing that I was charged $205 per service

Sahar and her team did a fantastic job with hair and makeup. Sahar is a very kind person to work with and she puts in tremendous effort into her work. I would highly recommend her to my family/friends!

Sahar is an amazing makeup artist, super professional & caring! You can trust her completely with your look and she will not disappoint. I chose her for my wedding day and reception and glad I did because she did a wonderful job. I would 100% recommend her.

I can’t say enough good things about Sahar. She did my sisters bridal makeup for her mhendi and shaadi day and she absolutely killed it. Every single person was complimenting her. Wedding time is stressful as it is but it’s people like Sahar who make it so much easier. Sahar was one of the best decisions we made and her work is just so beautiful. Sahar is a phenomenal bridal makeup artist. Everything from skin prep, to eye looks, to hair styling, to dupatta setting she does EXTREMELY well. She did my mendhi and wedding ceremony bridal hair/makeup and it was AMAZING. The way she works is so professional and logical as well. She examines your outfit, jewelry, skin type, face/eye shape and uses that to figure out which products and colours to use to create your look. During each step, she maintained constant communication and asked what I wanted and think would look good as well.My family and I were so impressed with her work, her team did my family members hair/makeup and they also did a phenomenal job, Sahar did a great job teaching them! We got so many compliments on our looks and gave her business info to a lot of people at our event.Not to mention she is also the absolute sweetest and very kind, it's always so nice when the people helping you get ready for your big day are lovely to work with and make your day better. Sahar is a phenomenal teacher. She goes above and beyond to assure that her students understand all the concepts and techniques taught in class. She paid attention to each one of her students and went over class time. Each one of her classes was so unique and different from each other. We learned a completely different look in every class. She broke down all the steps and made it super easy for us. Sahar helped me build my kit and recommend amazing products that were a big game changer for me. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. You are both such an amazing artist and a great teacher.

Sahar is a genuinely amazing professional. I was referred to her by someone else who had all praises for her; yet I was not sure of what to expect even as I booked her for my hair and make-up. She was very transparent with me over the phone and was very punctual for both the events I booked her for. She was able to comprehend what would look good on me keeping my likes in mind in very little time. She stayed by my side for both my events, through my anxiousness and picky-ness, and as I dressed and got fully ready. Sahar gave me a stunning bridal look for my ring ceremony that all my family and friends loved - they even wanted me to have the same look for my wedding. Sahar went above and beyond with the bridal look for my wedding and made me look even better than the kind of look I had in mind. She made me feel more like her family rather than her client throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend her.
