Small place, out of the way. Would drive by if you didn't know what you're looking for. There's practically no heat in the restaurant, there's one fireplace in the corner but the place was cold. Food was really good. Didn't have any home fries, which was a bummer. But cheap and good food.

I get half a beef every March and I am never disappointed but this last beef has been amazing. Everything from the porter house to the eye of the round roast has been tender and flavourful. Shop local people it’s that simple!

Get here before lunch to enjoy their jerky it sells out quick. Great assortment of fresh proteins and some cured meats. The restaurant attached serves tasty fresh cooked meals with daily specials. I tried the steak sandwich which was large and came with a serving of fries and gravy. Also tried the double bacon cheese burger, which for the price is a treat. Love stopping whenever we are in the area

Hanks is always great! Staff are fast & knowledgeable. High quality meats. Restaurant has tasty meals that are reasonably priced.

This place is a butcher and restaurant in one. The butcher store has all parts of the animals for sale including bones. They make beef jerky here but we were too late and they were sold out. Nice to know their inventory rotates quickly. The restaurant has the everyday Canadian fare and there are daily specials. I had the steak on a bun with fries. It came with a flavourful beef gravey and was super tasty. Will try to catch the jerky next time.

This place is AMAZING! Fresh meat. Very friendly. The restaurant dining area is delicious. I had the brisket poutine and it was absoutly amazing. The meat was done so perfectly it was awesome. My mother had the beef stew and Swiss Steak and it was amazing she said she loved it. Very nice resturant too. Great customer service.
