Ticks every box - We had the Sunday lunch, roast chicken and roast celeriac. The staff were helpful and good at making sure everything was ok. The atmosphere was good. Clean restaurant with plenty of light and space. There was no vegan main course on the menu and more and/or clearer options could definitely be added. However, the celeriac they made was really tasty! It's not cheap, but it's worth the trip.

What a wonderful meal. Every dish was cooked perfectly and very tasty. There was a very good choice for our party member who was dairy intolerant. The staff who served us were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed. I would definitely eat here again.

Lovely place! Very good rooms and the breakfast was among the best I've had. Excellent running by the river and if you go early you will catch all the rowing practice which makes a nice hare if you are so inclined. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub/hotel. Nice room , nice meal but we went to the bar for a drink at 9.30pm and we're told we close the bar at 8pm". It was Sunday but 8pm is still far too early to close the bar especially for residents. This is our second and last visit to the Crown and Punchbowl."

Nice place, friendly and professional personnel. But the food was average and steak (the most pricey dish on the menu) was badly cooked, actually overcooked. Despite the request for medium-rare, we had 3 portions of well-done. Disappointing.

It's been just over a yeah since I last visited the mean then was fabulous and tonight was equally as good. The restaurant and pub side were both buzzing. The had a great laugh with the waitress who was excellent and the food was on point. Thank you to all the team, I would highly recommended this restaurant to anyone who is considering visiting.

Wow just spent 2 nights at this amazing place. A great welcome on arrival, superb room with lots of thought in the design and furnishings. A very welcome meeting at the bar, and then to dinner. Great food and menu, the staff are really attentive, excellent service. Breakfast was great both mornings . We took a taxi to the city, around 15 minutes and took the hassle of parking. Etc . Night 2 yet another fantastic meal and service. Well done all involved in the running of this place, if quality and great service matters you won’t go wrong here!

Just a few minutes drive from Cambridge: you could spend this long trying to park for a city-centre restaurant. Attentive staff. Good wine list. Better than gastro-pub"
