I am not sure of the new name of this restaurant. The Korean food is great, nice and fresh. It is not fancy but good fresh food and a view of the Shuswap. They even have PoP Shoppe soda! We had the spicy bulgogi and bibimbap

Hidden Gem! This unassuming restaruant is basic and hidden in the Tappen Esso, but it 'may' be the best food i've had in the shuswap in a while. May is creating delicious home-cooked quality korean food. The food was fresh and tasty and everything was excellent prices. I had the bulgogi beef, japchae, and seafood pancakes, and they all tasted great.There are other meals like burgers and breakfasts as well, but if you haven't tried Korean cuisine, this is a must try!

Best place to find Korean dishes in the Shuswap. I absolutely adore this old gas station, still has much of the original features, feels so nostalgic. Brings back memories of road trips as a child along the Trans Canada.

May’s Homecooked Korean dishes are by far some of the best food in the area including Salmon Arm. May works hard to make sure everyone is looked after and fed, for a very affordable price. Every time I’ve been there I’ve been so impressed with the food. Additionally, not in spite of, but because of the key-down ambience, this place is the epitome of an easy-to-miss hidden gem. I had the spicy pork bulgogi and the Japchae and have never been disappointed. I would post billboards for free along the highway for May’s cooking.
