Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and most of all pack with so much information, either in a book or via internet with the computers offered to used with membership.

Worst library design ever. Sound echoes and carries everywhere. Too loud to read properly.

Super cute local library. I love that the entrance is all green glass giving it a very magical feel entering the place.Note: only has a book return on the outside.

I love coming here. This location is bright and airy with a great kids area. We are here weekly to take out books. They have a great selection of books, and it is super easy to request books and movies.

For the past 2 consecutive days, I've seen children running around the entire library (not just at the children's section, but throughout the entire building), playing hide and seek, running without shoes in the adult fiction books section, and being very, very loud; basically treating the entire library as their personal playground (and these parents treating the library as their children's daycare), completely disregarding people who came to library, to study, in silence. The staff warned them once, the children ignored the warning and continued this behavior disturbing everyone, and the staff decided to to nothing. The security guard also did nothing. This is the loudest library branch I've ever been in, with the worst staff, with librarians that allow this behavior to happen.Came to the library to study, left with a headache from all the noise the children made, and without being able to study.By far the worst library branch I've ever been in.Next time, instead of making the mistake to walk to my nearest Edmonton Public Library branch, I'll just take a bus or 2 to go to a different branch, in order to be able to get some peace and quiet to actually study.

Absolutely love the staff here and the location/building in general. For being in such a run-down part of town, it's surprisingly well kept and always clean. The indoor balcony is pretty cool and there's never a long wait to get on a computer. I think they could definitely use some security though, seeing as how there is usually one or two drunks nearly passed out at the computers - no matter what time of day.The only reason I won't give 4 stars here is because of the lack of direction for children. They should honestly rename this building from Library to Daycare. There are kids there all day every day, and they are LOUD. Very loud. About a week ago, I was grabbing my books that were on hold and overheard one man approach a staff member and ask what time of day would be best to come study because he was currently unable to because of the noise level. She never actually gave him a straight answer and offered him noise-cancelling headphones. This is unfortunate and I feel bad for the guy as I have personally experienced that level of frustration with the children running and yelling. Literally, they scream and run around all day - and no one says anything to them. I think the building manager or whoever is in charge should take a serious look at this problem.
