I bought a doweling Master Kit" after hearing JessEm's exceptional reviews. While the tool itself is definitely well-made

I placed an order for their doweling master jig kit on 1/23/23, and after not receiving any fulfillment email I contacted them and was told it takes 5 business days to process an order. Why isn't that made clear on their website or when an order is placed. On 1/30/23 I received an email that my order had been shipped, however when I track it via UPS, it only shows that a label was created, no other tracking information. I once again contacted their customer service via email and received an automated response that it would take 1-2 business days before I would get a response. They may have great products, but there fulfillment process is terrible. I will never order anything else from them. A warning to others.Update on 02/08/2023After posting the above review I received an email from the VP of Sales within minutes, apologizing for how my order had been handled and the response from customer service. He immediately followed up and my order was fulfilled promptly and arrived today. I'm sure my experience was an anomaly and not the norm.The product is exceptionally well engineered and is of high quality. I have already used it and without exception, is accurate. This type of quality is what JessEm is known for.Based on how my issue was handled and resolved I have changed my review from a 1-star to a 4-star. If the issues had not occurred, I would have definitely given this review a 5-star

I love JessEm products however, they need to do better with there customer service and shipping department. How hard is it to inform customers that their purchases will take sometime to ship out?JessEm, you guys can do better!!!!!I placed an order last weekend (for tenon stock) and now it's Thursday, close to the end of the work day and my order has just shipped without any tracking. Next time, I'll just order 6 mm dominos from Amazon or some place else.

Very prompt and informative order processing. Order confirmation and shipping emails. 3 emails on delivery - much appreciated - AND product quality is positive. A major plus supporting a Canadian Company in New Brunswick

There are few companies I would give more than 5 stars if I could. JessEm Tool Company is one of those companies. I phoned them with an issue I had with the router lift I had purchased some six or so years ago (Maybe more) I explained to the woman that answered the call, that I purchased the Rout R Lift II many years ago, and that right from the beginning, the insert kept vibrating from locked to unlocked constantly. The lift itself works flawlessly to this day. And the vibrating insert ring was never a problem as the only guide bushings I had ever used were perfectly round. Now, I purchased a Leigh Router Table Dovetail jig, and it requires an oval guide bushing that is adjustable for tightening or loosening the dovetail joint, so it needs to stay put. Not vibrate. Without hesitating, or asking for proof of purchase or even looking into my account she said, Oh. That's not good. We'll send you a new router plate and a new insert ring. It'll be there tomorrow. Are you comfortable with changing the plate out? If you need help just call." Today

Just purchased a Mast R Lift Excel II package and and needed a couple more bolts than supplied with my hardware kit. My call to Jessem was answered quickly and the bolts will go in the mail ASAP. Great customer service! The craftsmanship and overall build quality of the table/lift/fence/stand is fantastic, maybe the best I have ever seen. Looking forward to many productive years of use with this setup.

I ordered a router plate from JessEm, advertised as compatible with all routers. Upon delivery it was immediately clear that this isn't true. They were accommodating in accepting the return (shipping at my expense), but after several weeks no refund appeared. I contacted them and despite having tracking that confirmed delivery I was told they don't have it and was asked to provide shipping documentation that is literally impossible to get.After a few more days and another follow up, I was told they do in fact have it and that while the owner is on vacation, no one checks for package delivery. I was issued a refund for the product itself but not the original shipping fee. So I paid for shipping in both directions because the compatibility of the product is misrepresented on their website.Suggest if you're ordering from them that you're 100% certain you're ordering the right thing and there's a 0% chance you'll need to return it.

I have bought a few things from Jessem and the quality is great BUT I tried getting a part for my router fence and they confirmed the order and the only thing left to do was ship the parts. The problem was that after 3 weeks of going back and forth they finally let me know that the part was not available. It was unfortunate as I waited 3 weeks to start a project which I could have started earlier if I knew that they did not have it in stock. While the product they sell is very good, there could be work done to improve their shipping department.I hope to update my review in the future as I want to support a Canadian company and I hope for a better experience going forward.
