This office completely lacks any sense of empathy or understanding towards their patients, with poor chair side etiquette. I noticed negative post about Susan....she has been a loyal employee since day 1. Patients and referring offices absolutely love her! Can't imagine anyone saying anything negative about her. Please keep in mind that any negative posts have to be taken in context. We do the best we can to provide the best treatment available to our patients, which is why we have been so successful for so long. I encourage you to try us out for yourselves.

I was referred to Dr Katzman by dentist to have a root canal as he is the only Endodontist in Durham that accepts ODSP. At present I am on CCPD and ODSP as I am recovering from hip surgery. I phoned prior to my appointment to confirm the date and time with his receptionist by the name of Susan. She refused me treatment because I couldn't provide her with photo ID even though I had my ODSP DENTAL ID CARD. I tried to explain to her why I only had my old OHIP CARD and the reason why and she told me that she didn't care what the reason was either I had photo ID or I didn't. I requested to speak to the manager because she was becoming rude and ignorant with me. She wouldn't allow this. She told me this is a private practice and this is what they require in case they need to write a prescription. I told her I have picked up pain killers even had surgery on my hip with only my older OHIP card and she hung up on me. I don't think that Susan should be working in this line of work with her terrible attitude. She is a poor representative of Dr Katzman. Thank God I found another Endodontist to take care of my half done root canal before it became infected!!!
