Muskoka Cruises

We lucked out with great weather and got to sit up top. We were expecting some info throughout the cruise about the area but not much was given. The music playing was very inappropriate for children and was only turned off when guests asked as there were several children onboard. Covid precautions were to wear masks only inside on the lower level but not needed up top despite not much space between guests. It was somewhat difficult to find the meeting point as there was only a flag labeled “cruise” without a company name from the main road however there is free parking along the street and free parking lots near by.

Really enjoyed our cruise on the Tom Thomson. We did the Rosseau Lake cruise out of Port Carling. Lisa, the tour guide, was great. I spoke to her several times in advance of the cruise sorting out all the details. When we arrived, she took special care in welcoming us aboard and providing a very personalized experience. In spite of the rainy fall day, being out on the water and seeing everything from this very unique perspective was a thrill. Looking forward to returning next summer to do it again! Thanks.

Thank you for serving us on the yacht cruise yesterday. I really liked the enthusiasm and friendliness of the female tour guide. The scene in Muskoka is very beautiful. During the trip, I had a chance to get some fresh air and I love this. Your boat is very clean and moves very smoothly during the trip. Although the COVID pandemic is a very challenging time, you guys have done a great job guiding everyone to sanitize their hands. I hope I can have an opportunity to see you again in the near future.

This is a boat ride experience nothing else. You sit on a boat, go around the lake, and get dropped off. No commentary of where you are or any information.

A good friend and I did the Muskoka Lake tour onboard the Lady Rosseau on Thanksgiving Monday this year. He had been on the Lady Muskoka tour previously and thoroughly enjoyed that one. The weather was absolutely perfect and the water was calm, you couldn't of asked for a better day to go out onto the lake. It was an approx 1.5hr tour from beginning to end. We started off near the Port Carling Locks and set out into Lake Rosseau. We got to see many beautiful cottages and boat houses along the way. The main reason we took this cruise was to take photos of the Autumn foliage and boy we were surprised by the scenery we saw. I'm attaching a few unedited photos taken from my phone and at a later date will upload some photos take from our cameras.Overall it was a very pleasant and smooth ride. Right up to the very end when they docked back at the start. The music they played was very enjoyable. The skipper and his assistant were both very nice gentlemen and I would highly recommend for anyone to take this cruise if they want to see how breathtaking a small part of Ontario is!

What a fantastic cruise! I went with my parents yesterday and we enjoyed ourselves very much. The tour guide was so vibrant and energetic, but was also very firm about COVID-19 safety guidelines which made us all feel at ease. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Recommend!

Booked the tickets online and went on the weekend (Saturday). $40 per person for 1.5 hour cruise seemed reasonable to me. The directions are clear and if you run into a situation, you can call and they are willing to help you. I called to check about parking and was suggested that there is free parking at the library (which is about 7-10 min walk).The cruise was clean, ample sitting was available and the weather was fabulous. There is some food and drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) available for purchase. It's a nice 90 min on water with occasional information about history and landmarks by the captain. You have the option to sit and relax in the lower cabin or enjoy views from upper deck. I was hoping to have quiet time but there was music all along (which is understandable as some people would prefer music). It is a scenic cruise with multi million cottages around (some with waterplanes). If you are lucky like me, you may be able to catch a glimpse of seaplane. The lake also has lot of other water sports / activities and it's fun watching it from the deck.The staff was friendly ane they make you feel welcome without intruding upon your private space or time. The process of booking and boarding is simple - no hassles whatsoever.I am rating 4 stars as the activity overall didn't seem accessible but otherwise it's 5 star for the cost and the experience.

The boat itself was nice & clean with a smooth check in process. Very punctual too. However, there was no commentary during the tour which we expected. So, we were just sailing in the lake and watching outside at the cottages.
