Delicious food - great to get the plates you can share. Our server last night was awesome, he hustled and gave great recommendations. It’s not loud as well which is perfect. We will go back for sure!

A tiny place with a lot of character: delicious food, friendly and attentive service, and you can even buy souvenirs or a cook book on the spot. We enjoyed our visit.

Very good food with polite and professional waiter. Just took 3 hours to get our food. Would recommend not coming with a large group rather a couple or foursome.

I got the tripe soup as an entree. The soup was huge and lots of tripes! I think it was veal tripes. It was a new dish I tried, just wasn't my style. For my main meal, I got turkish soujouk. It was good, but was a bigger fan of the fries! A friend of mine got the chicken of the day marinated in alcohol, he enjoyed it. Another friend got a meat platter, he wasn't a fan of the huge chop, but liked the sausage roll and the other meat. The atmosphere was great at the restaurant with great eastern european music. The waitress was really nice and explained to us the menu and each dish properly! Overall, was a great experience, just that some dishes weren't to our taste, but I'm sure people who like them would enjoy them!

Great place. Cute, quiet. Food was fantastic. Our server was amazing, it was slammed and he was on his own and still had such attention to detail. He gave us great suggestions and pairings and was just overall a delight.

My boyfriend and I had dinner at Bistro Sofia last night (after I found it through a google search and decided to try it because of their glowing 5 star reviews), and it was such a delicious and fun experience. The owners are soooo nice, they're incredibly accommodating, and the food and wine are great value. We shared a bottle of wine (the most expensive white wine is only $34), the zucchini + garlicky yogurt sauce as an appt, breaded cheese with a fresh cabbage salad, fries, and mustard mayo dip, and the imam bayaldi (an eggplant and tomato stew with dried mint topped with salty cheese) which was served with a fresh green salad with radishes and cucumber. We were seriously full, but decided to go all out and order a cheese plate for dessert. Two soft cheeses, 3 different hard ones, crispy olive-oily baguette croutons, and olives - were a perfect way to end the meal and to accompany our last few sips of wine. If you like cheeses with a strong taste (like parmesan - feta) you need to get this plate. They opened up in December, and I have to give them tremendous credit for starting right in the middle of the pandemic and for adjusting so quickly to in-person dining. I highly recommend coming for dinner, trying a new cuisine (Bulgarian!), and supporting a budding business.

We went there to a friend's birthday party. Not only the food was delicious (typical Bulgarian meals and moldavian wine, which was absolutely decadent), but the atmosphere is warm and cozy. You can get some of these Balkan vegetable spreads, wine and wool blankets directly coming from bulgaria.

We absolutely love this place! We came twice for brunch and had an excellent experience both time. The owners recommended to share dishes and that was perfect. We loved the Mish Mash the most and everything was super fresh and tasty. The fresh orange juice is amazing too!The service was so friendly and accommodating and gave us very good recommandation. It definitively became one of our go-to brunch and planning on bringing all our friends! Can't wait to try it out for dinner too!
