The obedience class is very informative. Debbie is a great instructor! After the first set of obedience training, my puppy was a joy to walk with. The class is fun and informative. The sessions are not rushed to make sure that both handlers and dogs understood the lessons. We had already finished two levels of obedience classes and now enrolled in scent detection. The lessons are worth driving for to Amaranth!

Pando and his staff are all extremely knowledgeable. We did some training with my Vizsla at this facility and she learned very quickly because of the professionalism of Pando. I would highly recommend Olympus to anyone looking to take their dogs behaviour to the next level. I look forward to continuing my dogs education with Pando in the future!

Amazing crew of dog trainers led by Debbie and Pando. They were able to help us train our rescue German Shepherd within weeks after more than a year of training difficulties with other trainers. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating with our schedules, and very attuned to our needs and our dog's needs.Prior to this training, our dog was extremely reactive with fear aggression to strangers and other dogs, to the point where we had to make sure noone was on the street before attempting to walk him.Thanks to the trainers at Olympus, we're now able to enjoy leisurely walks around the neighbourhood with our dog. They have given us a lifetime of enjoyment and companionship in our dog :)

The team is a pleasure to work with. They have so much experience with handling dogs and they take their time to help make sure you are doing things right. I highly recommend them.

My wife and I have been to 5 other dog trainers, looking to find a way to deal with our reactive dog. Elsa would bark and lunge at other dogs a distance away, bark at people on bicycles, seniors with walkers, road workers in reflective vests, statues, horses in real life and on TV etc. She has always been happy and friendly with people that come to the house and that we met while walking her. We received different, and at times, conflicting advice from the other trainers.Pando was able to put it all together for us. I believe he did more to help us understand our dog in our initial consultation than we had been able to glean from our sessions with other trainers. We arranged two additional classes run by Debbie in which we dealt with the introduction of different dogs to Elsa's presence, and practiced the correct way to administer corrections in a humane manner.Everything culminated in attending a group obedience training class with 5 other dogs...something that would have been inconceivable just a few months ago. In my opinion our shepherd was the best behaved dog in the group, facing a barking and lunging confrontation with a larger male shepherd with an initial reaction that was quickly channeled into a controlled heel.We feel like we have been given freedom from a tremendous weight and look forward to taking our dog out into public places where we can all enjoy ourselves with confidence.This is not to denigrate our previous trainers. They all contributed to our understanding. Pando just seemed to wrap it all up so well and in such an easily understood manner.

Hello we adopted a dog and are doing the training with Olympus k9 Debbie and Pando are both always very helpful and listening to our needs. We asked many questions and they were always making sure we are happy and that everything is going well with our new furry family member :) Thank you so much we are very happy ! —>for people considering, we notice that training is almost more important for us humans to know how to act, than the dog since the dog reacts to how we are with her :)

Very warm, professional and inviting training facility. The head instructor has a vast knowledge of dog training and is extremely down to earth and humble.

Our first choice for training our German Shepherd should have been Olympus K9. We rescued our dog at a year old. He had little to no training and was stubborn as anything. After trying three different trainers, having little to no success with their methodologies, and many frustrating experiences with a reactive dog who thinks he’s King Kong, including pulling my wife in front of a moving car, we finally called Olympus K9. The team was transparent, honest, and candid right from the start. They helped us understand the breed and our own dog better. We started seeing changes after our first consultation. Our lessons are hands-on and I love that I am in control. The trainers take their time to help you understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. I leave each lesson feeling like my dog is becoming better trained and that I am being trained to be a better dog owner. Through the great lessons we have at their facility, the actionable tips we get from the trainers, practicing at home, and going to lessons consistently, we have seen huge improvements in our dog and get compliments from neighbours, family and friends. Even better, and most important, the relationship we have with our dog became stronger and I can’t fathom it being any better. Well worth the hour drive from Mississauga. Thank you Pando, Debbie, Joel, Pavelina, and Tina (and all the dogs involved in training our Toto), we are so grateful for you!

Olympus Dog Training Academy (1058078 ONT LTD)Boarded our dog here for a week in April. The kennel staff were very pleasant and friendly. Upon pickup our pet was freshly groomed and bedding had been washed.They also have custom blended dog food available for large breeds.

We have had a fantastic experience with Olympus Dog Training, in particular, with Debbie. She has been amazing at explaining everything in regards to training our pup and is so patient, highly experienced and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this training facility to anyone, 6 weeks in and our Aussie is doing amazing with on leash obedience. Thank you for a wonderful experience!Laura & Jones Russell
