Whether you're a Kingston resident or just passing by, Sapporo Sushi is an absolute must try. I have been to many sushi restaurants in both Kingston and the GTA, and Sapporo remains my top favourite.This is a mom and pop shop run by the sweetest couple. Sapporo Sushi boasts friendly service, very affordable prices, and delicious sushi. I came here regularly when I was a student, and continue to visit whenever I pass by Kingston. Over the course of 7 years, I have never been disappointed by the quality of their food and service.If you have the opportunity to come by, don't hesitate! And ask them about the Queen combo – it's the best!

Very small and worth the wait....super friendly staff and amazing sushi options.This is the gem 'hole in the wall' restaurant that I like to find whenmi am out of town. Fist visit was enough to make a regular destination.

Absolutely amazing! Came from out of town looking for last minute sushi and hit the jackpot! Incredibly friendly staff and the food was amazing! Don’t let the exterior fool you; Sapporo sushi has to be on your list of place you must eat at!!

We usually do the king special but when it’s nice out we’re get Queen takeout to sit in the sun. The owners are incredible and personable and even had our all you can eat order saved on their wall bc we go so often. Highly recommend!

Food was delicious and not same as other Japanese restaurants I've tried. Teriyaki was served on a hot sizzling plate and tasted awesome. Besides unique taste, the atmosphere is great with lovely decor. Music was Japanese too and fit the atmosphere. The only con is that it was expensive, $50 for 2 people, dinner time. The host/owner was very friendly, though!

Best sushi place in town! It’s a gem, don’t let the somewhat seedy strip mall exterior keep you away. The AYCE is fantastic and beautifully presented, and the chef was amazing and came to the table to check in with us on our preferences. Lots of great options for the less sushi inclined folk as well.We’ve done takeout several times and it was equally delicious, and they even guided us to combos to get us a better deal on what we ordered.Can’t recommend Sapporo enough!

Sapporo Sushi is always delicious! We used to come here a lot when I was in university; and when I found out we would be back in town, I knew we had to stop in!The sushi is very fresh and delicious. The owners are very nice as well.I will be coming back every chance I get!

Very cute place with delicious food, our go to for when we feel like sushi. The owners are very sweet and really seem to care about the service they provide. The Queen combo is definitely the best deal and you can substitute if there is something you don't like. For 2 of us and tip, it is usually under $60 and we always leave full near to bursting. Restaurant only has a few tables, so call ahead if you don't want to wait.Go try it!

I eat here all the time and I have never been disappointed! The best sushi in Kingston for sure, I have tried other restaurants and nothing beats the quality & price of Sapporo. I was speaking to the owners Karen & Mark today while picking up food and they didn't even know they had a Google listing or reviews. They claim to be computer blind and have never seen how good their reviews really are. I guess when you focus on building a quality business and putting the customers first, the good stuff comes naturally. Cheers Karen & Mark, and thanks for being the best!
