Nisha is an amazing and professional dance instructor!My partner and I are so glad to have her help us choreograph our engagement performance ! She is very talented and super patient - especially with new beginner dancers. She is enthusiastic and has such a vibrant personality. Nisha choreographed my fiancé and I’s first dance and we are so happy with our dance!! We mixed ballroom and Bhangra and Nisha was such a great teacher for both styles and created great flow between both dances. My fiancé had no experience dancing but Nisha taught him and helped him figure out his coordination so he can feel comfortable the day of our wedding! Nisha is patient and positive even when we struggled getting steps, we could not recommend Nisha enough for dance lessons!

Gurukul Dance is an excellent place to learn & keep yourself fit.Nisha herself is a great dancer and even Brilliant instructor. My daughter started with her when she was only 3 and till date never wants to miss even a single class.

I am a dancer that belongs to this studio. I started dancing here two years ago (2021). Personally I had a great experience dancing here with Nisha Chawla and all the students. Now that covid is also not an issue, many performance offers are also avaliable. Overall it is a great way to get in excersize without having to travel to far and also learn with a positive mindset.

They say when one door closes another opens, Nisha and her studio Gurukul was that door for me. I was planning on proposing to my girlfriend with a flash mob and I randomly called her studio and she accepted my challenge. She happily accommodated me in her busy schedule and trained me and her dancers for an outstanding performance to propose to my girlfriend. Her energy and of her performers was unmatched. Performers were incredibly sweet young kids who were amazing, kind and they happily volunteered to help me out. I am gonna run out of words on how grateful I am to her and her super amazing crew. They have helped create a life a long memory, a fairytale never to be forgotten. I highly recommend her services for any of your dance needs.

We had so much fun learning dance moves for our reception with Nisha. She is super talented and accommodated all our needs, teaching us ballroom dancing, Bhangra and Bollywood moves. Highly recommend!!!

Gurukul is one of the best Zumba studios I have come across in Calgary. Nisha is a great instructor and customises the class based on our strengths and weakness. She keeps the classes very interesting using various equipments and techniques.
