Really appreciate the quality of work done by Novak Aluminum with replacing a section of our damaged and aging garage gutters. Although it might be considered a relatively small project I felt it was really easy to talk to Novak about our needs and received a quote that was reasonable to us. Their professionalism would be the prime reason why we chose them. I also believe the end result was actually a better drainage solution because of their suggestion to combine the two gutters and relocate the downspout to a better area of the building. This isn’t going to be the typical review you’d find on here, but it’s a story worth telling. A few weeks ago our family cat had been missing for five days and we had assumed that he had fallen victim to one of the coyotes that wander around here at night. Just as we had given up all hope, my neighbour heard a desperate meowing coming from within his soffit. It seems our cat had fallen into his attic from a roof vent, most likely while fleeing one of the aforementioned coyotes. We started taking his soffit apart, but quickly realized it was far more difficult to undertake than we thought, and would potentially lead to damage. Novak was the first person I called. He had been recommended by another neighbor, as being a great guy that does fantastic work. I told him of our situation, and even though he was taking the day off and awaiting a major concrete pour for his porch, he dropped everything and came to the rescue. He opened the soffit and saved our cat, who was very near death from dehydration He patched up the soffit without even a trace of damage. I offered to pay him for his time, but he refused to even hear of it. If you’re looking to do business with an honest, decent, all-around great guy who does fantastic work, Novak is your man.
