Kumamoto Ramen
The worst ramen I have ever had..The egg is totally over cooked, no marinated at all…The noodles is technically not ramen, but only noodles(it’s not the thing- hardness and also the texture)What a pity they took the name of the original very acclaimed brand-Kumamoto ramen, but serving bad quality foodsthe waiter who serve the noodles is rude too, without saying excuse me/enjoy the food or sth, just put it in front of me.

We had the karaage and the kumamoto tonkatsu. For the ramen, you can choose between straight or wavy noodles and lean or fatty chashu. The kaarage was good and the ramen also, but the portions are smaller compared to other restaurants. The private booth style is pretty cool.

It was ok but nothing extraordinary. There are way better ramen places in Montreal imo. As for the staff, it was okay like they were nice but the service was lacking. Then again, maybe they’re understaffed so I can’t judge them too harshly. Not everyone had chopsticks and we had the ring the bell at least 3 times to get someone to help us. It’s probably better to go there alone, I don’t think it’s a good place for groups.

Unique solo dining experience! Ideal for 1 or 2 people. You get to sit at your own booth with a curtain for privacy. You push a little button when you’re ready to order. After ordering, it did not take long to get my food. I had the Karaage Tonkotsu. The fried chicken was my favourite part. It was crispy and well seasoned. The spicy sauce that came on the spoon was (in my humble opinion) not that spicy. If you have a low spice tolerance I think you can handle this ramen

I've tried their soup twice, once as takeout during the pandemic closures and again today in the restaurant. While takeout ramen is never nearly as good as eating it fresh at the table, I was hoping it would be much better today, but alas the broth was still very under-flavoured, lacking the unctuousness expected in a good bowl of ramen. We had to bolster the flavour with the dipping sauce from the tempura veg starter to give it a little depth.

The food was generous in quantity and I enjoyed the taste. The pricing is more on the expensive side but they are a Central restaurant so I guess that's to be expected. They did have limited staff but the service was quick and the were very polite. I would recommend this restaurant if you don't mind spending a lot, but if not it is not for you. Must try but.

Mediocre ramen place. They don’t even have calpis as a Japanese ramen restaurant.I ordered the black garlic oil ramen. It tasted just okay. There’s no surprise to the broth so I don’t have the willingness to go back again. Both Takoyaki and fried chicken were over fried. The outer looked very dark. Seems like they use the oil to fry things for a long time.Environment wise is good. It’s single eater friendly. Bathroom is clean.

Loved the experience, specifically the personal pods! Very comfortable for someone wanting to eat alone and have their own bubble. I made a mistake and ordered the normal chicken ramen instead of the crispy chicken but it was still good, the broth lacked just a bit of a kick but still was good. Dont let the bowl fool you the portion of food is good and i was full after one bowl. However the cheese cake honestly was way too small compared to the price even though it was really good.

Unfortunately did not have all items in the menu so I was a bit disappointed but the food was pretty good regardless.Returned for what I initially wanted (the gyudon) and they had it on the menu, but another item was missing (konkorokke). Overall the food was really really good. The small deep fried octopi was great. The gyudon was good but on the smaller side. They served it with kimchi and miso soup which is nice.On a side note tasted the supposedly tonkotsu ramen and it had a brown broth and tasted more akin to shoyu.

The ramen here is fairly good. Similar to what you will get and experience in Japan. I like how they set up their restaurant to have the similar vibe as japan. Like ichiran. Definitely worth a visit.I had the karage ramen combo which consisted of their red spicy ramen (forgot the official name) with a side of 3 karage chicken pieces, rice and a drink. The only thing I wish they would improve on is their karage. The pieces were tiny and if they were not included in the special I would have been fairly upset as to the price you pay for the minuscule pieces of chicken sold.
