Modern, clean venue with a great selection of performances/events at reasonable prices. Manages to maintain a community feel as well. Free parking on site. There's something here for everyone!

The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts holds a very special place in my heart and it's been such an important part of so many memories! Theatre camp, band performances, concerts, award ceremonies, dance recitals / performances...The staff is always professional, kind, and ready to help out and the space is very clean, prim, and proper at all times. Thank you RHCPA!

I cannot comment on the quality of the performance since it never actually took place. This review is more about the organization of the company itself. Our school had signed up for a French performance for our 4 classes of French Immersion students which was later changed AFTER payment from parents to a somewhat bilingual performance. We decided since there would still be French and things had already been paid for that we would make the most out of it. Fast-forward to the day of the performance, we were notified via email 2.5 hours before our departure that the entire performance had been canceled due to a performer falling ill. I understand these things happen"

I have attended here for the achievement awards of Richmond Hill, and the food was amazing. The caterers were excellent and very professional. I highly recommend seeing a show here.

Venue is ok. Sound and lighting were adequate for the type of venue it is.Trivial point, but nobody knew if the guest wifi is actually available for guests lol.I found the west exit to be extremely congested and could pose a huge risk should you need a quick exit due to fire. There was no crowd control and the whole venue was exiting through that one exit at the same time.

Seen Jeremy Hotz here Wednesday. This guy is absolutely hilarious! Known him for years. Always a pleasure seeing Jeremy and his pup Shackleton. Sue Thompson was his opener and was also very funny. The performing arts centre is spacious and clean, staff are very friendly, the sound is great, seats are comfortable and you have plenty of leg room. Overall a great local theatre.

I have attended this venue many times, and always speak very highly of RHCPA. We invite friends to share in the awesome experience and service. We have attended many rock shows here and have always had the bests of times. This time we were a group of nine. A few in the group, including myself suffer from anxiety. This venue is the only place I can enjoy a concert, and I wanted to show my other friends that this is a safe place to enjoy when you pick the box seats. We ended up being a group of 9, due to a miscommunication. So I purchased a seat on the end of the level. I would also like to add that one of our group members was in a full knee brace and using a cane. The opening band had started playing when we finally made it upstairs and we were told we can't enter until the song is over. Fine, no problem. We waited and then entered. Then the woman usher picked apart our tickets, ripped half the page, and told us that we cant sit together, due to that 9th ticket being on the side, not in the box. Things just kept getting worse. We were then instructed that we were not allowed to stand and must be remained seated throughout the show. Keep in mind....these are box seats, we are not interfering with anyone's view. Why would a rock band want to attend a venue, who forces people to sit. Attending a ballet or theater production vs a rock show are two different things. We were badgered all night. Eventually we just sat there and didn't move. I had to go to the bathroom and I held it forever until I couldn't. So I went, and then went to the bar to grab a drink, I had to wait because they were restocking and something with the cash register, no problem I waited and understood. I go back upstair and told again NO
