I wish I took pics of my food to make this review better. This place is amazing!! Great service, definitely will be coming back. Wish I lived closer. We got a free house special for spending over $55. Super clean, fast service, sushi was amazing!! Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Order was supposed to be ready in 45 minutes, it was still not ready after 1.5 hour. Every time I asked they said another 15 minutes and finally they said it’s almost ready. 20 minutes after almost ready, they came back and said another 15 minutes!!!! I wasn’t going to trust another 15 minutes so I cancelled the order.The staff were apologetic though and I felt bad for them. They shouldn’t tell people that it will be ready if they couldn’t make it. There were other people waiting for their order with the same concept of another 15 minutes…

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. I will NEVER return. for starters the staff was beyond rude. I asked for an extra side of wasabi and ginger and was met with anger saying it comes with the dish already. they poured water into my drink and did not realize it was not water ?! i don’t really know. They also almost refused to stop by our table and give ur any kind of decent service. the servers were older and seemed like they hated their lives and decided to take it out on us. The sushi was ok however I would NEVERE order the spicy tuna sushimi again or the golden dragon roll. I was very very disappointed in both. Lastly there was NO ambiance in this place and no music playing. it came to the point where I pulled out my phone and started playing my own music because the restaurant was so quiet and awful. would not recommend.

Sushi quantity and size is decent for the price. The environment is comfortable as well. Taste wise it's better than most other Calgary sushi establishments and I was pleasantly impressed. I would return. The salmon avocado roll is very good. The spicy tuna and salmon rolls have too much mayonnaise, in my opinion.

If you like getting noodles when your order Ginger Chicken, you will love it here. If you enjoy being told the Skip driver made a mistake when he clearly brought the bags that they labelled with your order number, this is your place. And to top it off, they will offer you “free Ginger Chicken” next time as if you just won Roll Up The Rim at Tim’s when actually you paid for an item they didn’t send you. The food is ok here but I won’t be back.

We have been going to Masa Sushi for many years now. We do both take out and dine in. The quality, price and service is always exceptional. They really do salmon sushi well, I would say salmon items are their speciality. We are big fans and often get the dinner for two for lunch or dinner. If you do pickup takeout or dine in and spend over $55 you receive a free item -- always a great incentive! I have never had any complaints about their food and have eaten most of the items off of the menu. Happy to support a local small business.

The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome. Sushi is delicious and consistently high quality. We stopped going anywhere else for sushi because this place is so great!
