Saint Joseph Elementary Junior High School

Horrible school, I went here for less than a year in grade 3 until I was physically beaten while the teachers stood by and didn't do anything. I later learned that no punishment was given to my attackers, even though they were all in my class. The school blamed the whole thing on me, and I'm glad I left this horrible place. NEVER TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I liked the playground but it needs a swing and a taller slide and no holes in the bridge cause my daughter fell in the bridge

i went to this school between kindergarten and second grade, only memorable thing was that something of value was stolen.

i love this school i think its why my mom and dad sent me there now i have lots of friends in grade 3!

I went to this school many years ago. They were a a great school and much better then the Public School in the area. I wanted to write this review specifically so I can share the pictures of the Mural we (the whole school) create and they installed at the front lobby. I Happen to take my 7 year daughter in to show her that, and what part I had created at about her age. I was told they were going to remove it. I snapped some pictures and wanted to share them on here for anyone else who might have been part of that project, or went to this school for the 20+ years this art installation existed in the main lobby. Mural Sculpture was installed by Al Gerritsen in 1985 and many of clay bricks were created by students (like myself) and used as part of the Art Installation. The photos I provided show specific close ups and you can see the teachers names of the year this was installed.

My daughter attended Grade 1 last year. We were very happy with school. Mrs. Savoia and Principal Murphy were amazing. My daughter also loved office ladies :).

Such a great and supportive school, both of my kids are so happy there :)

when here for grade 6-9 and was bullied for each year, teachers didn't care but did when i stood up in self defense, wouldn't recommend sending your kids here because either the teachers don't teach the class properly or they don't care about people getting bullied

Not the cleanest school, but it has some pretty good supportive teachers! :)

I tutored a grade 4 student in French immersion who spent too much time playing video games and could not write a word in French properly, even less a sentence, but his brother in grade 8 did better because he read more and had better work habits. I am not sure if they learn the language so well, although I do like the fact that there is some religious teaching in Catholic schools, which is really missing nowadays.
