YMG - York Mills Gallery

Expensive expensive expensive... I mean, all wedding venues post-COVID are, but this one takes the cake. If you stay sober enough to pay attention to the individual features and amenities, it's a warehouse with a black painted ceiling, some wood on one wall, and a bunch of LED lights. The faux-glass" plastic chairs are extremely uncomfortable and kind of tacky. Not really much to do outside the venue either. Food was decent and there was a generous drinks selection

I had my client's engagement party at York Mills Gallery 2. The team was quick with their response time while booking the venue, always answered all my questions and helped guide us in the right direction with finding staff (servers and dishwashers )The venue was a perfect blend of rustic and modern chic.Thank you Samir, Isaac and team for helping me bring my client's vision to life at YMG2

I got married here in October of 2022 and I'm so happy I did! The experience was incredible and my guests were blown away by the food, atmosphere and everything. I couldn't have done it without the help of Samir, he was so incredibly helpful and stayed late on some days to accommodate a few requests. He was very transparent and ensured that everything ran smoothly. Thank you Samir for all your patience and assistance!On the day of, the staff made us feel so special and welcome and kept bringing us appetizers and drinks to our private sweet - I really appreciated that.I will also like to give a shout-out to the bartender that was present on our day, I can't recall her name but she was truly a gem and the guests loved her! All of the staff were so kind and professional and my guests gave me multiple compliments saying that they've never had such kind servers at an event before. Along with this, the food from Catertrendz was absolutely delicious and I'm still getting compliments to this day. My wife and I just recently had our wedding reception at YMG2. Firstly, I want to say our catering manager, Samir, was extremely helpful in every aspect of the planning, he did his best to bring our vision to life and was kind and professional. Big thank you to him. The food was amazing, especially the Short Rib beef upgrade (highly recommend) everyone raved about it, along with the late night seafood and poutine stations. The bartenders were also extremely patient with our rowdy wedding guests lol. The staff was really attentive and made sure we were doing fine at all times as bride and groom. Overall, the venue is exactly what we wanted and it was a perfect night

Attended a beautiful wedding at YMG2. Loved the lights & mix of wood & drapery.Service here was great. Bartender was amazing. Good staff waiting the tables & cleaning up in a timely fashion. Really made everything so seamless.This is the photo of the stuffed chicken with mushrooms.

An intimate venue for a wedding. We attended a ~100 person wedding followed by cocktails, and dinner. The staff was great at turning the place over quickly and quietly. The food was served in an efficient manner and tasted excellent.

Attend a Christmas dinner, place is clean and organized, staff are friendly. Appetizers were a little on the dry side( I tried their mini burger, chicken ball on waffle, mac and cheese).For Salad I had Mixed Baby Greens, Roasted Pear, Grilled Fennel, Carrot Curls and Cherry Tomatoes tossed with Lemon Herb Vinaigrette was nice.My main course was AAA Beef Tenderloin with Roasted Garlic Smashed Yukons, Grilled Asparagus & Sweet Peppers, Fried Mushroom & a Rich Beef Demi that I liked the most.For Dessert I had New York Cheese Cake, Raspberry Coulis and Fresh berries that was okay.Portion was decent. Drink were good too, with one bartender we had to wait a bit. There were 130 guests. I was surprised how quickly they took cocktails before we finished them; I think when clearing the table they can pay attention a little more.Overall good experience.

Big venue with lots of space and very bright spotights. Perfect for fashion show and live performance. Highly recommended to hold event at this venue.
