Dated but very clean. Get a room on the top floor as it is very quiet. Bottom rooms hear all the noise from upper rooms. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Really cute place with the lake view from all rooms.

Charming, warm, and well situated. The owners are the nicest couple and are extremely hospitable and friendly. The rooms are cozy and the spa/yoga facilities are bright & convenient. We went in the winter and we would love to come back and stay in the summer time.

OVER N ABOVE SERVICE. 11/10The rooms were immaculate, the owners were very friendly, let us in early, supplied paper-kindling & wood for the huge firepirlt out back, the view of the lake across the street is so beautiful and everything you need is within 5 minutes away. We even asked the owners to come join our fire because they were so friendly. Felt like we already knew themImmaculate.

It wasn't a high end hotel. But it was clean. Had a fridge and a window ac. The owner was pleasant and a decent price for the night. I enjoyed it looking out towards the lake. Walking distance to a Tim Hortons and a fish n chip restaurant that was enjoyable.

Beautiful spot overlooking the Lake with balcony on 2nd floor rooms. Very clean room, comfy beds, great service. Parking is very close to rooms, good wifi! BBQ and fire pit for campfires available. Two minutes to Tim's, 10 minutes to Casino Rama, 10 minutes to Orillia for restaurants stores and everything you need. I will be back!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Was cold though and noway to turn up heat, but the bed blankets were warm enough. Mini fridge beside bed would make noises every few hours throughout the night ended up turning it off. And ticking sound from bathroom unit above us when water ran. Would stay again was a great price and the view and location was fantastic worth the downsides.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here this weekend!!! I wish I could give more stars!! The owners are amazing and do everything they can to ensure guests have the best stay possible! The room was SUPER CLEAN, spacious, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the view from the balcony was stunning! There's even cabins, a fire pit, and BBQ for guests to use. I loved that it was on a quiet street but was still close to everything!If you're looking for a budget friendly stay that far exceeds your expectations, this is the place!! Lakeside Inn will be my go to everytime I'm in Orillia now without a doubt!!

We were looking for a quiet, peaceful weekend getaway by the lake and that's exactly what we got! The grounds are beautiful. We stayed in one of the rooms on the second floor and the view of the lake was gorgeous. The room was very clean and cozy and the owner was friendly and helpful. I wish we could have stayed for more than one night! It was lovely waking up to the sounds of the lake and there are plenty of places nearby to walk/bike/picnic/relax. We plan to go again! :-)

This place was one of the nicest I've ever stayed in. Clean and airy. We loved the balcony and sounds from the lake across the street. I felt so relaxed there. The staff was wonderful too! Great little hideaway from busy streets and everything. What a gem!
