I strongly recommend this training centre to everyone who is thinking of getting their security guard or private investigator license... My teacher Mike is very knowledgeable and thorough in providing and teaching the students the right and correct information. I enjoyed his course very much... Thanks Mike!!!

The Centre for Security Training and Management is a dedicated institute that provides specialized training courses for individuals aspiring to become security guards or private investigators. The centre also offers other specialized courses in the field of security management.The centre is well-managed and follows a minimalistic approach. The experienced faculty consists of former police officers with a wide range of knowledge required for the security domain. CEO Steve R, faculties Mike G, Doug S, Fred, and Operations Manager Bev C ensure that students joining the institute are well-equipped with all the necessary skills and knowledge, emphasizing professionalism and conduct as per Ontario's PSIS Act.The institute provides a comprehensive curriculum that covers theoretical and practical knowledge, including topics such as handcuffing, defensive techniques, first aid, CPR, and other relevant matters. The centre focuses on providing quality education that meets industry standards.Upon completing the course, graduates are assisted with finding employment by providing uniforms (to be worn at all times), resume writing assistance, and mock interviews. Hiring agencies are also invited to select graduates. As far as facilities are concerned decent washroom, eating area, water dispenser and vending machines are present.However, anyone who is interested in enrolling must note that the centre in addition to interactive sessions, places a strong emphasis on punctuality, regularity in attendance, professional conduct, and in-class discipline. Students should make up their minds to carefully carry-out the instructions of the instructors, no matter how difficult they might seem. These are done so that students are job ready.Personally, I am grateful to the CSTM for providing me with invaluable knowledge in the security industry and beyond. The diverse group of individuals I met during my time at the institute were also wonderful, fortunately.I highly recommend this institute to anyone who wants to get into the security industry. It is also like a boon to those currently out of work and are with Ontario Works support. Anyone who is on OW should definitely talk to their respective case workers for referral to this institute. It will be extremely benefical for them to get back to working mode.I hope the centre continues to grow and assist individuals who wish to progress in the security domain while overcoming any shortcomings that they may face.

I was really satisfied about the service I received from this center. top-notch staff. They walked me through the process and helped me to graduate successfully with hands-on experience. What a well and organized centre for effective training. All the instructors were absolutely great most especially this handsome men called Mr. Mike and Mr. Fred. Also the whole administration was also perfect. I highly recommend them as the best centre for security training because I have been to paragon before and I can testify to the great differences.

In 2015 I attended this school and it was the best decision I made. They found me a job on graduation day some security companies came to graduation and the top 10 students were selected to go for job interviews we all got hired. Just like that.Mr. Mike, one of the instructors he is very good at what he does. I will continue to recommend everyone to this school. CSTMI thank you guys for the life lessons you taught me.

Very professional institute and staff. The expert staff like Mike, Douq Samson Fred and Bev were awesome in delivering and managing the whole training. I am very satisfied with the 5 weeks training that I received at this centre!
