TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

I have an A/C with TD for last 12 yrs.I live across this Branch.Took an appointment 3 days beforehand n to my horror reached well in time only to wait for 45 mts.This happened to me for 3rd time.I was shocked no one from the staff attended to me.Have

Branch has an Amazon Locker, where Amazon delivered my package after 5.30pm. By the time, I reached the branch, it was closed after 6pm. I get it, none of TD's fault. However they've a bunch of rude employees, I tried to convince them to let me in for 10 seconds to get my package but they won't open the door. I get their security perspective but don't treat me like a criminal. All I'm expecting is a little courtesy, help for which I'll be forever thankful to them. For saving my day and being grateful to them! I've been a TD customer ever since i came to Canada, never had any issues at any branch, but just for this reason I'll never go to this particular branch. Just some rude people in there!

AVOID THIS BRANCH: Unprofessional and rude managers.I brought a certified cheque (at the request of my lawyer) that I had just obtained from RBC. The “to” portion was hand written by the RBC advisor because the name of the law firm was too long. The manager yelled at me and proceeded to lecture me on how they would ABSOLUTELY not accept the cheque because (1) the “to” portion was handwritten and (2) the amount was too large for a non-TD client to transfer. Both RBC and the law firm (TD client) said this should not be an issue. I proceeded to get it deposited at another TD branch.The managers at this branch are misinformed and gave inconsistent information. Furthermore, I don’t think it is appropriate to treat anyone (regardless of whether they are a TD client or not) in such a manner like I was treated today.

Aweful service. I’m doing home Reno’s and have taken out more cash on multiple occasions. The bank is often late with the money, can’t get it in a reasonable time, don’t callMe when it’s there. Extremely poor serviceThat take no accountability for screwing up simple things.

I would like to call it TD Canada UNTRUST Bank because I was scammed by it on my online banking telling me that I am eligible for spitted payment of big purchases via credit card & after checking out eligibility criteria that applies for me, I made a purchase of $1,357 on December 5th & when I tried to put this transaction on splitted payment, the system didn't allow me & when I called the customer service to help me, no one was able to help & I was stuck with a big amount to pay Iin my next statement otherwise I will be charged a big interest. I don't TRUST TD UNTRUST Bank anymore. I tried the splitted payment option with CIBC credit card & it worked smoothly. I don't recommend anyone to be misleaded or scammed by TD UNTRUST Bank in the future. I really recommend CIBC based on my experience.

Tellers working there are not properly trained and providing inconsistent information. An example of the thing I was told was that I could bring my Citizenship card for identification if its not expired. (This is not true, citizenship cards never expire). Nevertheless this lead to me to call their TD customer service and confirm with the the validity of what's considered identification. Fortunately on my second attempt I was met with someone who seemed like the manager that was able to resolve this issue, whom seemed surprised when I told him what I heard from one of his tellers while seemly brushing it off.

They didn’t have clear signs for social distancing. I was in line for deposit the cheques. There was a couple behind me were not even 3 feet away from me. It was almost my turn and I was waiting for the teller to call me and I can go to the counter. But I still asked the guy politely if he could stay 6 feet away from me. He got mad and yelled at me he is 6 feet away from me. We started arguing and there’s not even a staff come to see what’s going on. The teller was not professional either. I was doing CTS deposit and it took her forever to figure out where the reference number is. It is clearly on the deposit slip I gave. It was the worst deposit experience I’ve ever had. The teller, staff even the manager was not helpful when there was a huge agreement in front of them. The staff who can speak Mandarin just asked me to call police. I call police and just tell them I had a fight at the bank? Are you serious? The staff ignored the whole situation until I asked for help. That’s ridiculous.
