Whidden Park Campground & Cottages

Stayed I. Cottage #1, super clean, only complaint was the mattress in the back room could use a better box spring, will definitely stay again when I visit in the future

Very nice campground, very friendly staff. Exceptional wifi, I think the best we've ever experienced camping. We're camping during covid, so no visitors. The gate is locked at night with a 24hr guard. Lots of kids and play area. 2 pools, bathrooms are good. You can walk from the campground to downtown.

Best campsite I have been in. Showers awsum 50cents for 5 minutes worth every penny. Just enough trees to keep off the sun, but clear enough to meet your neighbour's. People were great. Everyone seemed so happy.

Price is a little on the high side 40 bucks to tent and then pay showers. Lots of noise. They only have half the number of fire pits they have sites due to town rule on fires. But seasonal site have pits if they are here or not. So if you are a later walk in we got here at 6. You don’t get a fire. But the guy ahead of me was offered one. Maybe it’s just tenters.Big signs in the bathrooms about making sure you lock up everything at night. Doesn’t make it sound all that good.Bathrooms aren’t close to tent sites. Which doesn’t make sense. And last this place is in the middle of town. Their are houses over the fence. Looking in on us Strange place for a campground.

We stayed here overnight on our way from Cape Breton to the Bay of Fundy. The staff was accommodating especially since didn't book ahead. Our campsite was very clean and the park was very quiet. Washrooms were spotless. Would definitely come back.

Would definitely recommend. Stayed two nights. Washrooms very clean, staff very helpful, WIFI the best we have ever had at a campground. Would suggest that one of the pools have gradual steps in.. The straight up and down ladder is hard for anyone elderly or with joint issues

No security, got stolen my battery charger in the toilet from 2am to 6am.There is nobody watching the camping gate so anybody can get in. They say to lock your stuff, but a camping tent can't be locked. Avoid. Theft problem there that they don't do anything about to deal with.

An excellent well run campground in the heart of Antigonish within a beautiful park like setting complete with its own brook running through the campground. Andrew and the staff were great and I definitely recommend this campground to everyone looking for a place to stay while visiting Antigonish.

It's a campground located right down town. It was a really nice place to stay. You can walk to the main street to shop, eat or just browse.
