Being someone who is apart of the LGBTQIA+ community it is very rare that I see pride flags in store let alone restaurants, it also came as a very pleasant surprise that they had gender neutral washrooms. It felt like a safe space and almost comforting. The food was absolutely incredible; and the staff are absolutely amazing both when I went for dinner and when I went in to get a glass of water. The staff were also more than happy to talk with myself and a friend while we just hung out there. Personally I like the music choice however it may not be suitable for younger people. Overall I highly recommend this place and will be coming back whenever I can!

Best chicken sandwich in the city by far, I had the maple this time, but my favourite is the hot. Dorito mac is also amazing. You can sub the side slaw for any side for a dollar to make a good deal for what you get. Staff is friendly and always have great music playing

Take-out service was smooth, but the food was not that impressive. The chicken finger (one giant finger per order) came with very heavy breading (can a food be oppressive?), and the bone-in chicken was dry. Smashed potatoes were nice, and the honey cornbread was great, but the apple slaw was generic.There are at least 3 places to get better fried chicken within 5 mins walk, so we probably won't bother going back.

Amazing food! Loved the ambiance! Was not too loud on a Friday evening so that we could have a conversation. Highly recommend this place.

This second location of Northern Chicken is just as good as the first. Lots of seating, cozy atmosphere. Sports on TV in a couple spots for fans, but not too loud and distracting for those who are not. Spice levels on the food are great. Lots of options. I would consider myself very tolerant of high spice levels and the second highest level was pushing my limit.

Incredible chicken and amazing value. Huge chunks of crunchy chicken at that place. Order 6 pieces for two of us and that was beyond overkill. Definitely coming again. The honey cornbread is deadly.

What a way to discover a new business! We had a fire alarm in our building this morning and the manager was kind enough to invite us in while waiting for the all clear to return.So I went back for lunch and unsurprisingly, the food and service were outstanding! As with almost all my reviews, it's the staff who make or break the customer service experience. Fantastic people!Highly recommend!

First time trying and would go back. Service was top notch. We ordered the 3 piece chicken Nashville extra hot which was actually very spicy! Lots of flavour and the chicken was juicy and a good size. Be careful on the bigger pieces because it was still a bit pink on the inside but the other two smaller pieces were perfect.I'm sure had we mentioned it they would have done something about it because I ordered 2 chicken fingers which are actually huge. One of them wasn't ready at the same time so the waitress removed it from our bill without me even complaining. Now that's great customer service! One finger" would have been enough though since they are pretty big and for an extra $5 I got the Doritos mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was fantastic and it really doesn't need the Doritos so next time I'd get without it. Both dishes came with an apple coleslaw which was very good.Looking forward to going back and trying more of their sides."

Loved sitting on the patio on a lazy Saturday attending Al Fresco on 104 with our dog. Dog’s welcome on patio. Great food! Great bevies.

Really excited to try the the sides along with the chicken - unfortunately it was only the chicken that was good. The dill pickle potato salad had no seasoning whatsoever, just cold boiled potatoes, so bland. The apple coleslaw also had no flavor, it tasted like apple soaked wet cabbage. The biscuits temperature felt like they had been in a fridge for days. None of their sides complimented the chicken which was highly disappointing but the homemade ranch was good. Avoid the sides I tried unless your preference is unseasoned.
