I am delighted to provide an excellent review of the service provided by Exotic Stone for our recent purchase of a countertop.Our experience was first class from the initial phone call requesting a quote, to a visit to select the stone, the templating process, and finally the installation.All staff we encountered in our dealings with Exotic Stone were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Our quote was provided by return email the same day it was requested. Kim assisted us in choosing our stone with recommendations provided based on the look we wanted and information on the various stone products available.Amanda contacted us to schedule templating and installation dates and kept us informed when our templating had to be rescheduled as BC Ferries cancelled the sailing that would get the templater to our home on Mayne Island. The templating process went without a hitch.During installation our new faucet was accidentally scratched. The installer showed us the scratch right away and immediately offered to remedy the problem. Had he not done that we may not have noticed the scratch for a while as it was on the less visible side of the faucet and to the back. How a company deals with a problem says more about them than when everything goes without a hitch. Our scratched faucet problem was dealt with promptly and to our satisfaction.I have no hesitation in giving Exotic Stone the highest of recommendations based on our recent experience.

We just had our counter tops installed and we love them. The price quoted was the price paid, which was great....no surprises. The price was reasonable and turn around time fairly good, off by about 1 week but really that is not so bad at all considering all the construction going on. We are happy with the service. I didn't deal with the office, as my husband did, but he had to do some convincing that we did want a drop in sink. The owner came in and was great at ensuring we got what we wanted.Overall happy with our dealings at Exotic Stone. I would recommend this company.

I have used Exotic in the past and have recommended them to friends. I wanted to replace my counters on my classic wooden boat. The counter tops were 52 years old. They first came to measure the counters. The walls are not straight. I removed and prepped the tops. A week later they came early in the morning and installed the counters in record time so I was not to late for work. Was great to watch them do the install. Looks amazing! I did both the heads and the main Galley. They recommended a thinner backsplash so I would have less weight.Made such a difference now I need to find a good faucet!Thank you!!

Our kitchen needed a major upgrade, and we picked Exotic Stone for the counters. The outcome was good, but we had some concerns. In all honesty, the major issues were NOT the fault of Exotic Stone. But they came out, looked at it, and said it wasn't good enough. Then they replaced the entire $7,000 worth of counters at their own expense. No arguing. No hassle. Our home just sold for over $2.2M, and part of that was because of the flawless counters. I have never seen customer service like that. More than lip service - they did the job. Customers for life.

I cannot express how happy I am with my kitchen countertops and more importantly, the experience of dealing with Exotic Stone. JD and his team are hands down the best in the city when it comes to quality craftsmanship, installation and fair pricing. I received pricing from 4 different quartz companies in town...ES was thousands less than other competitors. I would highly recommend going with ES and plan on using them again for my fireplace project.
