One of the best trip i have done! It is an amazing spot we saw Beluga whales. Cree nations people are amazing, they have lots of Canoes there.

A nice end-of-the-road spot. Deep water. If you want to go for a swim, the boat launch west of Chisasibi is better choice as the water is sun exposed and shallower, so warmer.

This is the northernmost point that can be reached by road on the East side of North American continent. It's a very good scenic destination in and off itself, but getting there is much more than half the fun. Hundreds of kilometers of taiga, rivers, bridges, lakes, enormous dams - all of that awaits you on your way there. You'll be passing through an area the size of Germany with a population of only 35,000 people (mostly Cree natives. And the longest service-free stretch of paved road in North America - 386Km between two gas stations.
