My girls attend Canadian Christian Academy and they love it! Best decision we made to transfer from public school to the private school. My youngest was getting low grades in the public now she's on the honor roll! I'm so happy with this school!

Canadian Christian Academy is second to none. The individualistic learning style for each child is what makes our positive environment so successful. I am proud to say that I am a graduate of this academy and now the Vice Principal! I look forward to the day of enrolling my little ones in this school. High-Quality care, One on one mentorship’s with teachers and all around positive experience!! So thankful for this place!

In my opinion, CCA not equiped nor prepared to assist children with their academic, let alone mental and physical growth. There were no sports programs other than gym, or other extracurricular activities unless you would like to pay extra, and even then, the options were severely limited. The teachers are not equipped to deal with mental health issues and do not have the tools to handle special needs due to a lack of knowledge and training. As a former student of CCA, I would not recommend that you send any of your children here. I saw children suffer from mental health problems as a result of what I believe to be inadequate policies and oversight. There are issues involving mental health in every school, of course, but at CCA there are no counselors and the staff is not trained to deal with children in crisis and/or deal with mental illness. There are also no Ontario Secondary School Diplomas(OSSD) available upon completion of highschool for grade 12 students. One can still get into some programs regardless, but it makes it more difficult especially for students aspiring to go to University. I personally knew one student graduating from here that could not get into University due to the lack of an OSSD. I myself had to first complete another program after my graduation from this school in order to get into university.Additionally, nearly all of the curriculum used at this school is not only a decade or two out of date, but some of it hasn't been updated since the '70s or '80s. I completed a career education program which only gave women the two options of homemaker or telephone operator. (??) In addition, the science program was two decades out of date and had a lot of inaccurate information (I'm in my third year of Genetics and Psychology at Western University and I can testify that CCA's science curriculum is completely inaccurate). If you want your children to be traumatized and grow up with an inadequate education, then by all means, send them here. The principal frequently yelled and screamed at students if she thought they weren't behaving and I observed the kindergarten class left alone with a 10 year old nearly 45 minutes on multiple occasions.I urge parents to find a school that promotes their children's mental and physical health, in addition to providing a quality, well-rounded education. Please consider other institutions before settling at this sad excuse for a school. I hope for your children's sake you find a better place.

Canadian Christian Academy is a wonderful school. Our family has been apart of CCA for 8 years having 3 children attend CCA and are so happy with the school. They focus on academics, Biblical truths and development of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. There are many activities for our children to participate in like gym classes, student convention, music and art. Our oldest daughter graduated last year from CCA and was easily accepted into a medical program in College with an award for her outstanding grades because of the high academic level of the school. The students are like a close knit family, supportive of each other and loving towards their teachers and fellow students. I couldn’t imagine my children in any other school , our children are growing academically and spiritually being given a firm foundation to build their lives upon.

This school has been amazing for our children. The small class sizes allow teachers so much more one on one time with our kids. I have a son with special needs both physically, and learning delays. He also has emotional issues. He really struggled in his last school. The kids were mean and teachers were not able or willing to help him. He would cry every day. Canadian Christian Academy has been such a completely different experience. They have done everything necessary to accommodate him, including having CCA send someone to do an assessment to help facilitate his learning. I can't say enough about how amazing and supportive the other kids are, not just to my son but others at the school. The teachers really do care and it shows by how they have taken the time to tailor the curriculum to both my children's learning styles. My daughter is excelling as well thanks to this amazing learning environment. I have never been happier with a decision for the future of my children. Yes it's a small school but they still have gym and art classes to keep the kids active and healthy. This year we did three field trips. The kids also compete in a yearly track meet against other schools. The kids are involved in extra curricular activities. There are dance classes offered as well as music lessons by professional teachers right at the school (at a very reasonable cost). There is a yearly conference where the kids go to fellowship and compete against other small christian schools from Southern Ontario. The teachers even helped the kids fund raise to help cover the costs, giving of their own time to make it within reach of everyone. They even have Year end semi formal gala event for the kids. They may not have everything a big school offers but they also don't all the negative things a big school brings either. I don't feel for a second that my kids are missing out on anything academically or socially, in fact, just the opposite. Last but certainly not least how can you put a price on hearing your kids worship and pray at school? They are surrounded by the Love of Christ shown and lived out by their teachers and fellow students.

At a desperate time in my young son’s public education, we were feeling helpless and without options, I was referred to Beth Rock (Principal), and she immediately put me at ease. After a thorough conversation in regards to my many growing anxieties to ensure all my son’s educational and emotional needs were met, my husband and I knew Canadian Christian Academy was the best choice for him. We never intended to enroll any of our children in private education, and yet, we found a way- knowing the benefits would outway the cost! The following Monday morning, my son started, was welcomed into loving and caring arms. His educational assessment was completed by lunch and he was immediately working on skills and goals that reflected his individual needs! His teacher and his principal communicated often with my husband and I to relieve us of any anxiety. My son FINALLY loved going to school! He smiled when sharing his day with us! He celebrated his successes daily and FINALLY developed the confidence we so desired to see in him! His attitude towards school and learning has completely changed for the positive!I owe so much to CCA for what they provided to our family! I went from feeing like I was losing my son and powerless, to feeling empowered in encouraging my son’s development!Educational focus- 5Christian values-5Communication w/ families- 5Care and sensitivity- 5Physical wellness activities- 5Family atmosphere- 5God bless,McLean Family❤️

As a mom of 7 kids, 3 with special needs and two with high anxiety I would recommend this school. The staff have always treated our family with love and respect. They have all been very welcoming and sensitive to our families unique needs. I couldn’t imagine having some of our challenged children going to the public system where they would get lost in the masses. The principal pours her whole heart into each child and youth that attends this school. God has blessed them for His purpose! And our family is blessed to be a part of it

On day one, all three of my children walked out of school smiling ear to ear! There are no more I do not want to go to school remarks since starting at CCA. My husband and I have both noticed significant improvements in our children's work ethic and academic achievements. Their self confidence has definitely increased! The staff is deeply rooted in providing a loving and enriching education. As a teacher myself, I can genuinely attest that this school provides an education that fosters the no child left behind" principles

As a student who attends CCA, and has an High Anxiety Disorder, I find that the teachers and staff are wonderful, understanding and accepting. The teachers are always kind and ready to help in any way. The accommodations are amazing and the education is light years ahead of public schools. Also, with a brother with high functioning Autism who was left to fend for himself in public school both social and academically, He never made many friends. Not only does he have friends at CCA, but everyone in the school are his friends. He is thriving academically.I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!

Recently enrolled my 3rd grade daughter in the 2nd quarter of this school year at CCA. One of the best decisions I have made for her education and all around being. In a matter of weeks she showed extreme improvement in her studies, attitude and loved going to school again. The faculty are absolutely fantastic and made her transition to a new school, with also a different learning approach, run very smoothly. She hasn't looked back! Will be enrolling her brother in the jk/sk program next year.Blessed that we came across this wonderful school.
