Julie is absolutely amazing! I brought both my wedding dresses to her for alterations and she was amazing to work with. My dresses look STUNNING and I could not be happier with how they turned out!

Julie is my fairy godmother!! She goes above and beyond for her clients and does an amazing job. I reached out to her with less than a week before my wedding and she was very busy. She easily could have said she was too booked up, etc..but she offered to see me on her day off and worked a miracle. I now feel so much more comfortable in my dress and will be able to enjoy my wedding day a lot more and it's all thanks to Julie!

Julie listens and has a keen ear to all your concerns. My dress for my son's wedding at the last minute she fixed as I was leaving for Hailfax, and work related clothes were done with exact precision; this comes from warm thoughtfullness and caring nature to give us the best, I believe, for her clients. Julie is fantastic! My wedding dress required extensive alterations due to my height/size, and thanks to Julie's skills, it looks like the dress was custom made for me. Julie was so sweet and accommodating throughout the entire process and made sure that every thing about my dress was perfect. She is an expert and I recommend her to anyone who needs alterations!

My review is based on the lack of professionalism and courtesy I experienced during my brief encounter with House of Julie. I had honestly heard wonderful things about Julie and was really looking forward to working with her, especially because my dress store recommended her for wedding gown alterations.I first contacted House of Julie in March via text message. I told her my wedding was in September. Based on the timeline given for alterations, it was determined that I should reach out to her again in June, when she'd be looking at July/ August bookings.When I reached out in June, she said she'd be free at the end of July and asked when my wedding was. I told her again the exact date in September. I asked if she thought she'd be able to make it work, but didn't receive an answer. I sent another follow-up message, acknowledging how busy she must be and to please let me know if she thought she could still make it work, but I never heard back from her. It's now August.House of Julie was unresponsive and unprofessional and didn't have the courtesy to let me know, one way or another, if they'd be able to work on my gown. I am incredibly disappointed by this.

Julie did an amazing job! My wedding dress fit like a glove when she finished with it and my husband looked wonderful in his suit.Her quick turnaround time and attention to detail for such a special day was greatly appreciated.I cannot recommend her enough!
