Ron's Marine Ltd

I recently bought a 2009 boat and no experience with boating at all. I found some water in the engine chamber and could not figure out where water came from. I called quite a few shops and they simply asked me to test by myself to where the leak was. Obviously I have no idea how to do it. I called Ron and he agreed to check for me. Jaime tested the engine and seems no leaky there. Then he told me go to the lake and told me exactly the places to check the leak. Finally seems that boat is fine. They only charged me 60 bucks for checking, I can't believe it. Nowadays any shop could easily charge you 200 without doing anything. Ron's shop is a family business and they appreciate their brand. Ron is very friendly, even teach me some tips for boating. Honestly, I will NOT go any other places in the future for my boat.

We took our boat to Ron's the middle of August with 2 problems. water in the lower leg oil and tell tail not putting out water. Got the boat back in about a week at a price that was reasonable. The motor is peeing water from the tell tail the best it has ever been. Had this problem looked at another shop an it never worked this good. Thanks.

Awesome knowledgeable staff and quick service. The tech easily diagnosed my problem just with the symptoms Over The Phone!!!! He asked that I stop by and he would quickly do it. I was back on the water that day. Inexpensive and a great place to get work done. I am telling you and all my friends to support this family run business at Ron's Marine. Highly recommended!!! Btw Ron is 80 years old and still plugging away.

I took our boat to Ron's Marine after having it at another boat repair shop twice (and over $3000 charged), and while it didn't quite get entirely fixed on the first trip to Ron's, the mechanic Jamie was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I ended up with his personal cell number and he walked me through a number of items to attempt while on the water. It still didn't perform as expected, brought it back to Ron's and Jamie had the problem solved within hours and had the new part on order. They also didn't charge anything for the second fix". Fixed my boat 2x this summer.(Yeah I am hard on equipment, so what? haha)Anyways these guys got me back on the water and having fun.They made sure my boat was up and running perfect for our week long adventure up north.Super friendly on the Labour Bill too.These guys are awesome.Thank you guys so much.100% will be back.

Bring my boat to Jamie for preseasons. Always good workmanship. Had one hiccup with prop one time. I ended up with new prop and hub assembly at no charge. Recommended.

DO NOT GO HERE. They had my Mercury 150 for better part of 4 weeks and couldn't read the computer to diagnose it and kept phoning me asking what they should do. They are the mechanic shop and that is why it was there. I went to pick it up today so I could take to another shop who knows what they are doing and one of my trailer straps are missing of which they tried to blame me, this is why I took pictures of boat when I dropped it off, so proof is they are lying cheats. The mechanic decided to get heated and aggressive with me when I asked him where the trailer strap was and he was confused between a tarp strap and a trailer strap which also make sense why they couldn't figure out the boat. All in all I gave them 4 weeks lead time, they said no problem we can read it and fix it and now I'm without a boat for my vacation. If they didn't lead me on this entire time, make me buy a new trailer strap and arrange another 3 weeks with another shop I suppose life could have went on. DO NOT GO HERE, you will be disappointed. In fact read all of the other posts, rarely do they have anything good to say. Thought I would give them a try and it was a complete mistake I will not make again.
