AgeCare Lakeview Long Term Care Home

My great grandmother lives at this care center. The nurses at the center are super nice. She has dementia so doesn’t rlly know what’s going on, but is supper happy when she sees us. We took her outside of the senior home with masks and social distanced, but one of the ladies (mona or Nona) started yelling at us like a Karen. We explained that we got permission to bring her out but she continued yelling at us. Don’t recommend this place if you want to be able to bring your family members out

Wouldn't want Trisha taking care of anyone I know.

Has good Chinese food in generous portions.

My beautiful Mom, Patricia, was a civil servant, worked for the Government (RCMP) for over 20 years. We brought her to Lakeview due to her need for full time care, and Dad too. In retrospect there were lots of scenarios that weren't quite right for them, which were laden with poor excuses throughout their time there. Mom passed away a few months ago, and when we were notified it was agreed that we could pick up her things the following day. Arrived mid-morning to find all of her belongings ...on the door step (had been there since 630am!), and had been completely ransacked. Salvaged a few family photographs...so speechless and sickened by the insensitive, careless, disrespectful and asinine display of (now) empty cardboard boxes put there by an employee who is new and should have known better"(manager)...that I haven't been able to post this until now."
