So I found a cat in my yard and was struggling to find a no kill shelter, I called this place and I spoke with a woman and immediately she was abrasive and told me to send the cat to the spca so it could be put down immediately, What kind of rescue is this? Bragging about hers is the only one around that's no kill, but it's full. And I'm a horrible person because I saved a stray from -26c weather and trying to find a home because I dont have the means to house it long term. My advise is put your donations somewhere else.

Doesn't care about cats unless they come with a money donation as well, otherwise they tell you the cat will be killed and make YOU feel guilty while YOU are the one trying to help the cat. Terrible response time. I called 4 times and no answer and emailing them is even worse. save yourself the time and energy and start with another rescue NOT this one. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND unless of course you have money to send with the cat.

Adopted my cat Luna from them about 4 months ago, and I had a great experience with them! They were quick to respond and went through everything we could have asked for with us about taking care of Luna. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cat.

The NTCR is such a lovely place. The staff there are all wonderful and the cats all look healthy and well cared for. I adopted two kittens from them 6 years ago, Pico and Luna (her name was Harriet then), and they’ve been great. A little hard to get to, but if you are interested in adopting a whiskered, furry friend, then they are defiantly a place worth checking out. :)(Pico is the grey and white tom and Luna is the grey, medium-furred tabby. Their siblings were Jet and Ozzie respectively, and they were both there when I got them as well)

Donna is an absolutely phenomenal human being. She takes such good care of these cats. I got a very anxious cat from here and through care and patience she is now super snuggly and loving and I cannot imagine life without her. North Toronto Cat rescue saved her from being put down at a shelter in Quebec and I cannot thank them enough. If i could give more stars I would.
