Silverwood Motel

Stayed 4 nights, Studio suite with comfortable beds, lots of space, kitchenette, new floors, Heat pump (A/C), would be good to have a double sink in the kitchen, and extra electrical outlets. Pet friendly, staff very pleasant and welcoming. Location ideal in center of Cavendish, price reasonable. Would recommend.

AVOID. Might be just our room but I doubt it. The reason for this review is that the air conditioning is the noiseiest piece of equipment that I ever slept through. 2nd, there is absolutely no electrical outlet anywhere. We need to unplug either the fridge or the television to charge anything. And when you do your little plugs don’t seem to stay in the socket. This day and age having no outlets near the bed is a huge problem, especially for travelling families. The bathroom is very old and dated. However the bathtub/shower seems to have been updated. Somebody seems to have put a bar soap on top of the shower and God knows how long it’s been there since it’s been removed. There’s also a very dated bottle opener in the bathroom which I found funny. On a positive side the beds are comfortable.

Had the most fabulous time!! The prices were very reasonable. Rooms clean with all the amenities you could ask for. Pool area was clean and comfortable as well.Katie at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay spectacular and guide us in the ways on the island we did not consider. Thank you for the sun-kissed ginger tea as well it was delicious!

Rooms are clean, spacious and in a good location. There is a heated swimming pool which was a bonus. Although the rooms are minimal, it has everything you need including a kitchenette(stove, Microwave, fridge, coffee maker) They provide a few basics such as pans, cutlery, bowls, plates and glasses. They have a nice green space which has BBQs. Bathroom was clean, lots of towels, soap bars, shampoo and a hairdryer included. You have to run the water a bit to get warm/hot as I found out. I found the price to be reasonable, but we also stayed in the off season. It is in a great location for Cavandish and there's a small food Mart across the street. My only issue was with how uncomfortable the bed was.

Probably my worst stay in a 10 day trip and i have traveled a lot.The bed was so worned out, it just fell apart when i went to sleep.The hole bed needs to be changed. And both of them.I could not care less about paint, stove and fridge because i wont sleep in them... I had a terrible night, could not sleep.It's pretty clean outside, but my room had lots of hair running on the bathroom floor and the corner of the room.The people at the front desk were very nice and pleasant.No ice machine, you need to go to front dsk, witch is closed after 21h00 ...No breakfastPrice was high too.I had room 9 !

The staff were so kind and accommodating. The rooms were pristine clean, I would feel comfortable bringing my kids here. Amazing price and also so many amenities. This motel surpassed my expectations.

I would recommend Silverwood motel. Very willing to accommodate your individual needs and very kind people. Service is beyond my expectations.

Staff were so friendly, the room was immaculate. So happy to have found this cute place on our travels!

Loved that they allowed for self check in and I'd you leave before the office opens then you just drop off your keys in their drop box. We had our room prepaid so it was very convenient. Only thing was the bathroom size but we still managed.
