Pho had not too much meat but broth was good. The grilled beef spareribs with rice noodles bundles and lettuce wrap was tasty. The appetizer steamed pork and shrimp tapioca dumpling with ‘flagrant banana leaf’ was tasty but some may not like the squishy texture. I didn’t really notice any flagrance from the banana leaf though. The chicken curry was not the best curry I’ve had, tasted a lot more like coconut milk than curry to me. A bit expensive were the dishes as pho was at least 15 and beef short ribs 22+ so wouldn’t call it a cheap eats restaurant, but the place is big enough for small groups and has a nice warm colour unlike some other pho restaurants.

This is fine place for grabbing foods. I tried bbq chicken and sunny egg with rice. Lemon fish sauce was good and closed to Vietnamese cuisine. Rice was broken rice ( great). Chicken was little bit light on seasoning and marinating. Some part of egg white was still raw. I will try other dishes in Mui Ngo Gai for sure

Good service, but food was not worth it. The large size is like other places small size. Barely any meat. Broth tasted like just water with some powder.

Growing up in a Northern Vietnamese household in Saigon, I must say, the food here tastes just like home-cooked meals!Phở: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Their Phở always hits the home. It's a Northern-style pho, so the broth is more clear and herby. While some may find it slightly milder, I personally enjoyed the comforting, delicate flavors.Caramelized fish: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️If you're looking for a hidden gem, I highly recommend trying the caramelized fish. It may not be something people commonly order, but I convinced my Canadian friends to give it a try, and they absolutely loved it! The dish is bursting with flavors, a perfect balance of sweet & saltiness, with incredibly fresh basa fish.‼️ There are some bones, but you can easily remove the middle bone as it's not filleted.Bún Bò Huế: ⭐️⭐️⭐️The taste leans towards the milder side, which isn’t what you want from this dish known for its bold and spicy flavors. However, if you're looking for something less intense, you might enjoy it.Spring rolls: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Perfect appetizers. The spring rolls here are perfectly crispy!

We had the caramelized pork and tofu, very tasty. Pho and Bun Bo Hue were great too.It might just be my visit but they seem a bit under staffed. Both ordering and serving took quite a while. And they didn’t have time to redo tables. The service was still decent, though.Again, food was great. You can’t go wrong with anything!

The food there are always fresh and tasty. They keep the place clean and tidy. But almost all the restaurants are short of staff, sometimes they can't clean up the table after the customers leaving. The space of this restaurant is comfortable. The staff are friendly.

Had a craving for Pho and wanted to try a new spot close to home.Mui Ngo Gai restaurant is a nice size restaurant that's clean, open and has plastic dividers separating tables. Nice touch.Staff was very friendly and communicated very well when we were ordering.Food was delicious. We ordered 2 of their appies along with some other dishes. Deep fried tofu and steamed pork and shrimp tapioca wrapped in banana leaf were tasty items. All the dishes we ordered were very tasty. Can't list the other dishes because I'm too full to bother. We'll definitely be back.

One of the favorite Vietnamese hot spots serving up authentic Vietnamese dishes. Always consistent quality, service, and taste. Highly recommend!
