I ordered 3 items from the menu. Food was cooked fresh but was most flavorless Chinese food I have eaten. I downloaded the menu earlier to keep for future ordering but will soon delete.

I have been ordering from Red Chillie for 10 years and have never had any complaints with the food or the service. Easily the best takeout Chinese in the Burlington area. Highly reccomend the crispy beef in orange peel sauce.I've tried 20+ menu items and genuinely enjoyed all of them. Can't go wrong with Red Chillie!

Not really trying here for a place that is the only Chinese take out place in the immediate area. Chicken and noodle was quite bland. The only way to make it palatable was to recook it with my own sauces and spice. The Sweet and sour pork had commercial premade sweet sauce on it and no sour zip to it that comes from scratch made sauce. If take-out is all you do then it should be good enough to make you want to order again. Very lackluster. It's not like there is over head expenses for waiters and furniture. I see no reason to try this place again. Only takeout available, parking available. 10-20 minute wait.

I had some gourmet Chinese food from Red Chillie a few years back. Thought we will order some of out favourite dishes again tonight for a special occasion. Big mistake!!! There could be a change in ownership/chef since a few years ago. The dishes we had taste horrible. We ordered a few dishes with beef and chicken. But, the meat has no flavor or texture at all. What a great disappointment!!! Don’t think we will order from Red Chillie again in the future. If I could rate 0 stars, I would.

Was disappointed that they want to charge $2.00 to get the sweet and sour sauce on the side. I get that they use another container but doubt that it cost them $2.00 each. I would be ok paying .25 but 2.00 is highway robbery considering the dish cost $16.99. We find that the sauce on the dish makes it soggy when wanting to reheat the next day, so we did not order that dish. Other wise the food was good.

We used to order from here all the time. The last 2 times, the food was absolutely terrible. Once the tofu tasted like it had gone bad, we called them and they sent another plate just as bad. We decided to give them a second chance. One of our plates was a beef with mushrooms and scallions, and there was literally 3 pieces of beef and the rest was onions and mushrooms. Very disappointing. We also ordered a Singaporean noodle, and it was tasteless (very bland). The quality of food has gone down drastically.

I really like this location for Chinese food, the Vancouver style calamari is one of the best dishes I ever had there. Prices are reasonable but portions are very large. Not stingy with shrimp and stuff in fried rice dishes either.

Lived in Calgary many years ago & have been searching ever since for Calgary style ginger beef, my favourite Chinese dish when I lived there. Finally found it listed at Red Chillie, with a couple of good reviews.Ordered it tonight from the Burlington location. This was probably the worst Chinese takeout I have ever had - it bears no resemblance whatsoever to Calgary ginger beef. It was a greyish, gelatinous mess - only beef? in a sticky flavourless sauce, none of the crispiness, no onion or other veg & no detectable ginger. Also ordered scallion pancakes, assuming (hoping) they would be at least similar to what we used to get in Calgary. Also no resemblance. A deep fried, tasteless dough with a few burned pieces of green onion.Be warned.

I wasn't impressed with the organization and customer service. I called ahead to place an order for pickup at 5pm. I walked in, waited a few minutes for someone to come out at 456pm she told me I was early. 4 minutes?!?! I then saw her look at my order in the kitchen and nothing had been started. When I followed up with them asking for an update after 15 minutes, she just said they're busy and everyone has to wait. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes. She never apologized. The worst is another customer walked in to place an order after I arrived and she received her order at the same time. That's frustrating. The dishes were not remarkable. The black bean ho fan was too soupy. We tried the Peking duck as this was a special occasional meal and it was the smallest half duck I had ever seen. The skin was all scrunched up, not how Peking duck should be presented. I wasn't expecting gourmet as this is a takeout restaurant in Burlington but this was worse than I imagined.Mostly due to the poor service and long wait, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. There are other Chinese restaurants in the city that has better or equivalent food with much better service.

Ordered Calgary crispy beef. It might be one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. It had no flavour other than about half a pound of sugar. There was literally hard chunks of sugar in the bottom of the dish. It made me feel ill after.
