Codebreakers Escape Rooms
Hidden gem of a place! Creative room and fun concept for dueling rooms with larger groups playing Grandma's Attic. Price was reasonable and the game master was fun and friendly. Location is good, close to any great place to grab a bite and/or drinks before or after. Look forward to trying another room.

The room itself was really good. Codes were of a moderate level and we escaped with with a few minutes to spare. Here are our only complaints:- 2nd floor no elevator, hard for our elderly mother to climb a long steep flight of stairs- they ask you to remove your shoes!? I realize that you want to keep the place clean but that's ridiculous. They issue knit sock covers but on a slippery hard wood laminate floor, it made walking very tenuous for our elderly mother.Other than that a good experience.

I have tried two different escape room places and this was by far my favorite! We did the tomb and it was challenging but doable and more hands on which we enjoyed. The owner was accommodating and fun! Our group will definatly be returning to try out their other rooms.

Did not inform us that elements of the room were non functioning until after we had paid and were just about to enter the room. Owner was quick to blame it on the last group being too rough on her things".The room is mostly made of cardboard

We went on a hot day and I didn't have any expectations and ended up having a lot of fun. The rooms aren't meant for big groups but they were accommodating to ours. Customer service is top notch! also the rooms were fun and you actually had to use your head.

We had a really fun time here! Our first room at code breakers (the tomb) and it was very well put together! Creative puzzles and a unique layout makes for a great time. We will definitely be back!

A group and I did The Museum of Curiosites recently. We have done a total of 10 other escape rooms so we have lots of experience! To start our game master Kaitlyn was very pleasant and enthusiastic. I'm also happy to say that the room was very challenging and the lazors were a cool touch. However... The room seemed very dirty and messy and most of the puzzles were worn, some even broken. Things as simple as dry erase markers were nearly dead and the white board was very dirty. Many puzzles were made out of materials like cardboard and string which was disappointing because the room itself cost the same as other escape companies. Our game master even had to come into the room several times to fix puzzles or inform us that they weren't working properly. Specifically the puzzle where you stick your hands in the boxes was very poorly constructed as the items weren't distinguishable enough. We also felt that there was a lack of meaning to many of the components of the room. It seemed that everything in the room had an out of play sticker on it so who would have figured out how to pull on the bookshelf. We felt the lack of light frustrating as it meant you spent a lot of time doing nothing. She mentioned we should divide and conquer" however that wasn't easily possible with the lack of light. Now I understand the idea of progressively getting more flashlights as you progress

My wife and I didn't have a reservation but still got in with just the 2 of us. The staff member there was great and really made an effort so that we could have fun. The setup is not as polished as other escape room venues but the puzzles were good and gave us a fun challenge. Great for beginners to the escape room concept. If you are looking for fun hour with a friend or 4 in Osbourne Village this hidden spot just above the Toad in the Hole is something to check out.

It was fun and the front desk guy was helpful and friendly but my daughter, son and I left with splinters in our pants. There is a lot of crawling around on the floor so I guess that’s where we picked it up? Super itchy. Really strange! My daughter had thicker tights on and they were covered. Also the front room floors were very dirty. Just felt grubby. The escape room itself was fun though.

This place was so much fun! The lady greeted us instantly and was attentive and pleasant. The room was so much fun. There was climbing and crawling. Puzzles and hidden compartments. The place was clean and the room decor was well done. My husband and I had a blast. We left feeling like our money was well spent. We will be back soon!
