I was working out there for about three months.For over a month i watch one staff member excercise , i assume on her off time .Over the course of that time i saw her repeatedly ask people to wipe down the weights after use (including myself)The problem was the only people she asked were people of colourAnd quite a few times she was working out with or near caucasians and never said anythingAfter i saw it happen with the fourth personI decided to bring it to the attention of the managerHe protected the lady and gave the normal excuses but said he would talk to herI dont think he did because days later she did the same thing to another person of colourIm writing this in the hopes of spreading awarenessI dont wish ill will on anyoneTheir response to this review said they would follow up but nobody contacted me and its been a month and countingThats the response i recieved from the manager when i brought it to their attention the first time

Exceptional Location in so many. The fitness options are amazing. The gym is very nice. The pool is beautiful. What makes it exceptional is the staff. You are welcomed and feel welcomed right when you come in the door. The staff working and doing the programs are so genuine. Makes you feel so comfortable, when your battling be up 3 pants sizes it makes all the difference lol Great Spot for fitness and just for life in all ways.

Great Gym with top quality and modern gear. 100% safe swimming pool always with lifesavers staff. Nice place to relax and enjoy both dry and wet sauna, and a good size jacuzzy for VIP members.

Nice facility but closes too early. Also swimming pool is often taken up for lessons and other stuff not allowing public to swim. Considering outrageous fee they charge for membership there should be more opportunity for public to swim. Can't have your cake and eat it, charging for lessons and making double money. Also old guy in gym should stop blasting his music, all of us have headphones for a reason, we don't need a DJ.

YMCA is the Best Place for families, children, teens, and adults. Staff are always friendly and Paul the Best manager! Great place to volunteer too. I love the YMCA and highly recommend it. Thanks Adriana.

I love the aquafit classes. The low impact is great for someone like me with some health issues. The staff are excellent. The saunas and whirlpool is so relaxing. The facility is clean and well kept.

The center has loads of exercise equipment for every individual size, shape and age. My training sessions with Dennis Quinton were excellent significantly improving my strength and flexibility. The plus change rooms with saunas and hot tub are my favorites. The swimming pool facilities are the best in Sarnia. The gym facilities are great for members who enjoy basketball or pickle ball. Day care facilities are readily available.

I love the pool! Have tried the aquafit several times and it is great too. I wish they had more evening classes though like the stretch class for working people.
