Been going here annually (with a few exceptions) for over 25 years, through several owners. We have stayed in the cabins and camped in the beautiful campsites over the years. This was the first year we were disappointed (new owners for the 2022 season). The service at the dining lodge has gone way downhill. Grouchy servers, no free refills on coffee, favourite items removed from menu. Tbh we can camp or stay and fish lots of other places for the price, but the dining lodge and cheerful, friendly service was what drew us back year after year. Might be time to start looking at other options.

Very nice owners and staff. They are friendly and courteous. They have alot to offer the patrons at a reasonable price. I can't say all the attractions to keep busy and enjoy, only because I was staying there due to a work project near by. I do know that the facilities are exceptionally well kept and sanitized.

It is beautiful place to enjoy boating and unwinding. Very green and relaxing. Cheers

Waterfalls Lodge is a fishing/hunting vacation spot that I had located online in the early spring. It was very appealing in many ways. On the way home from a Southern Ontario to Vancouver Island road trip we stopped in to view the Lodge in person. It was mid-September and a beautiful day but the natural beauty of this location would shine through even if it wasn't. Rob and Kathy have outdone themselves in providing a full-service fishing resort for just about anyone who enjoys such a place. My 5 stars are simply for the presentation their property makes on its own! I will be booking a week next year and then the rest of the details will follow. I expect my review will be 5+ then!!

The camp is first rate, owners and staff were great. Our cottages were very clean and well equipped. Rental boat ran great. Our only disappointment was a less than productive fishing experience. A great place for family and friends.

We arrived at the lodge and asked how was the fishing? Our original contact Monica said “terrible” and we thought she was joking…… We were after Walleye but over 3 solid days nothing.Our first day we arranged for a guide and met Bruce , great guy, really knows the lakes but we sensed he was also frustrated with the current fishing activity. On our 3rd day we gave up on Walleye and caught Pike and Bass. We dropped in the Blue Heron Lodge on the Spanish River to meet fellow anglers who were enjoying great Walleye fishing!!!An investment group has acquired Waterfalls Lodge and the transition is proving to be tricky. Remember Monica, she disappeared but the new general manager Amber and the remaining staff are working hard to try to get things organized.MealsBreakfast 7out of 10Lunch (Sandwiches) 8 out of 10Dinner 6 out of 10Would we go there again? not for the fishing…Suggestion, book either cabin 18 or 19 at Waterfalls Lodge, do your own meals and fish out of Blue Heron on the Spanish river as its only 5 minutes away.

Ok so let me begin by saying my dad and i had a wonderful time at Waterfalls lodge. The owner was always very attentive to our needs, and very respectful. They had bait on site which was amazing. Also the boats and cottages are both functional and clean. Fishing was also good, and we did fairly well considering it was out first time. The shore lunch was awesome, despite being cold with a nasty wind that afternoon. I would go again no doubt, and look forward to it. Thank you, Raul Jr and Raul Sr.

Stayed there for 3 nights at the end of May, 2023Pros: Cottage was nice, loved having a dock right in front of cottage, staff was friendly, lake was really pretty.Cons: Sold to me as a lodge that had great walleye fishing...when i got there and spoke to their fishing guides, everyone said it is rare to catch a walleye on their lake. We had to go over to the Spanish River to find Walleye...and bugs were quite bad on the lake (good on the river). Also price is quite high if you have your own boat and bring your own food, although cheaper than a lot of other lodges in Ontario.

It was a beautiful relaxing vacation w/my bae. Bruce was a great fishing guide, even in the pouring rain. TV reception worked perfectly during the rain. Cabin was clean and even w/construction nearby, visit was quiet. Beautiful lake..Hope i see a bear next time.

Been going to this lodge for a few years.. rented a pontoon boat this past year for son, grandsons and myself to spend the time together.. unfortunately the boat leaked badly.. couldn't find the problem nor could the owner of the lodge and had to endure soaked floor/carpet for the time we were there... wouldn't recommend the equipment this place provides for sure .. will be looking for another location.
