Horrible service turned me down after waiting 30 minutes in line because they have “enough” funds. I brought in US dollar bills which I assume they change often but they turned me down because it was too many bills. The funny part is that I brought in the remainder of the amount I bought from them. So they had no problem selling it to me but they won’t buy it back. Pathetic. Horrible service to turn down customers. Will never come here again

I had a very bad experience trying to change money in this Pickering Town Centre location. In fact, I will never do business with Continental Currency Exchange again. If I could give a zero I would. I would rather deal with Knightsbridge Exchange or my bank. The lady there, she is plump and says she is the assistant manager, behaves like she cares but very sneaky. She often sits in the middle seat, she made things so difficult for me when I went to change some USD. This place is useless. She profiled me, even after showing her my banking slip on how I got the USD from my dollar account and from the USA, she went on, gave me a VIP card and told me I should show it for some discounts on my next exchange, not knowing she put some remarks to call some agencies anytime I changed money and to give me a cheque that will clear in days, for money that is not up to 10k CAD. I went to my bank who did the exchange (3000USD) for me and I did not care if it was lower by a few cents. Please stay clear of this place if you can. Scotia bank in that same mall has a better rate than them but I did not have an account with Scotia so could not change it there. I do not know for what reason she did that. It was very unfair

They charged my wife 20% exchange rate for CAD to TTD. $5000 TTD (Trinidad) for $1208 CAD. The rate that day was 5.035 to 1.So I call the young lady at the Pickering location to question that rate. She was rude to me then hangs the phone up. I called back to ask for their head offices number and her name. She says to me that she doesn't have that information. Unbelievable, and incompetent, get your exchange somewhere else. Her skill level (whatever her name is) , is below zero if that's even possible.Ron Daniels.-Follow up on Oct 27,2022.I called in and spoke with Cherie. Now there's a person with customer service know how. She spoke with empathy and care. She will forward my concerns to the regional manager, who will call us in a few days. Let's see what the outcome will be.

Great rates and location easy access .. staff is a rude and abrupt.. poor customer service..just wish they had more people skills to deal with the public.. did one transaction and then decided to do another transaction.. staff to me did you not know you how much money you wanted to buy… I told her you sound very upset that I decided to do another exchange .. then she was like go to the next teller .. what a character

There is no line of sight to the teller and she quite rudely informed us that we should wait to be called...big pause...but it was ok and she could serve us. #attitudeThe sign clearly does not say wait to be called. We were standing in front of her to see her and it took nearly a minute to even acknowledge we were there. With the frosted window Im not even sure she would see us and we clearly wouldnt have heard her since we could barely hear her standing by the glass.Drop the attitude. If you dont think you have one you do. Will be cutting up my card after this.

Great place to exchange money; they always have a better rate than the bank and usually have a variety of bills to choose from. Jacklyn helped me out and provided excellent customer service, and even gave me some tips while dealing with the currency. I definitely recommend exchanging your money here.

Good rates for cad/USD about 2-3 cents premium. Not as good for pounds, about 5cents premium today Mar 30 2023. Good secure service.

I exchanged Canadian to Colombian Peso for a trip and assumed they would be giving me the correct amount with the variety of denominations. Went on my trip and they gave me MUCH LESS than I should have received (there is new and old currency in circulation and they look different) make sure to do you your research about what bills are in circulation before.Very disappointed.
