Dr. Fallon Patel and Associates

Our experience with Dr. Patel was so great! The appointment was for me, and my 4 year old son. It was my son's first time, Dr. Patel was so warm and welcoming (as the whole office team was as well). He helped my son and myself feel very comfortable! I could tell that he has a lot of patients who are children, because he was very interested and interactive with my son. As a parent, it made me feel comfortable that he was helping my son feel relaxed and comfortable with what was going on. I would highly recommend anyone to book an appointment with him, especially with young kids.

Great staff, amazing Doctor. Doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful with alll questions I had regarding my son's colour-blindness. He also was helpful with providing me with the information regarding my eyes and what to watch for with the arteries and such. Highly recommend to everyone!

This is the best place and a courteous staff, Dr.Militar was exceptional in his services, he found something unusual in my spouses eye and was referred to Hamilton Eye institute Emergency ASAP, because of his swift actions we were able to seek further complicated medical assistance.A huge complication was avoided - Yes we had to undergo a treatment for 3 months following the diagnosis but, In Most cases these discoveries are made when the vision is almost or permanently lost. but thanks to his Amazing practice my spouse is Fine.And we were from NWT not from Ontario, Still they went above and beyond to help us.

Visited the office and was able to get an appointment right away.Dr. Somers was great! She made my visit very easy and she explained all my concerns and questions.Also, Jyothika was great in the front desk.Definitely will be using this office for my future eye appointments.

From the time I walked into the store , I was greeted by a sales rep and asked if I needed any help advised I was here for eye exam , I was directed to the back area and met another person ( can remember her name) who advised to take a seat for a minute then was directed into another room where she performed some procedures ( very friendly and pleasant ) , then brought to exam room to wait . ( super quick and efficient) . Then Dr John Militar entered the room ( I was with my wife in the room as she was also having her eyes checked) What a professional caring person , he explained to both of us what he wanted to do and showed us the result of tests and explained the conditions we were experiencing. He said that he made our prescriptions and to get them at the desk when we leave and again asked if we had any questions or concerns . I would highly recommend This location for eye exams .

Everyone from reception to doctor was fantastic to deal with, incredibly friendly and helpful. The equipment is as modern as should be expected, everything feels up to date. The office is clean and overall a nice place to be, and they even direct bill too my insurance. I'll definitely be going there on the regular for my eye needs!

My appointment at the office was on March 22, 2023 and I can say, it was perfect from start to finish. I was greeted by friendly staff who took care of my registration and processed my insurance seamlessly. The optometrist assistant did testing on four different machines within a 10 minute period. She was friendly, efficient and informative around each of the machines and what the testing was for/how it would be completed. She then took me to another room to wait for the optometrist. The wait was only a couple of minutes. He completed numerous tests that again, were explained in a through and informative way in terms of procedure and rationale. He spoke to me about markers of my eye health, options in terms of my newly developing need for a progressive lens and redid the retina scan as it was a little dark due to a starting “blink”. When I was finished, I was provided with my prescription at the front by another friendly team member and wished a good day.The offices were sparking clean, well laid out and meticulously cared for. Good lighting, excellent temperature and comfortable in every was possible from the reception chairs, the seating in the exam rooms and every area I visited.The only thing I found lacking for this appointment was that I couldn’t rate this experience higher than excellent. I took an appointment at this office because my own optometrist was having billing issues with my coverage insurer and I can say that they will be my new office of choice for my eye care and exams.Thank you everyone in the office for your excellent care and professionalism. It was an amazing experience.

I finally made the decision to get contacts after several years and was in search of a new optometrist. I came across Dr. Fallon Patel and Associates on Google and decided to book an appointment. The receptionist was very well spoken and detailed, she explained each step of my upcoming appointment and also gave me a time frame of how long it will take. The day of my appointment, I was examined by Chloe Somers - she did a very thorough eye exam and I was very pleased. She was able to answer all my questions and concerns, I look forward to bringing my parents here in the near future.

Not only was I not provided with what I asked for, but a senior was turned away. ...So I went in looking for contacts or glasses and did an exam. Paid out of pocket and was told they would call me for follow up with the prescription when it arrived... I call once, twice, three times, months later and there's no update on my prescription being avaliable and have been contacted twice about another eye exam, but nothing about the prescription I was told was being ordered. I feel scammed and genuinely disappointed.Additionally, while I was waiting, a senior was refused service, and as a healthcare provider, I am disgusted by the lack of care and empathy exhibited by this practice. Disgusted, period.
