IRIS Optometrists and Opticians - Nanaimo

Iris has been my go-to place for eye exam. The staff members there are all very friendly and helpful. The optometrist is super empathetic, and knowledgeable. They do care for your health and your feelings. Definitely highly recommend it!

“My people” at IRIS in Nanaimo, BC, including Dr. Michael Wilson and all of his technicians and receptions, are number 10’s on that scale! The service provided in their office, sets the bar very high for any competition. I am always given professional, priority service. Everyone is kind and caring with going the extra mile for the customer’s benefit. Mike, Heather, Michelle and Mary were especially helpful with my frame selection. Outside of the realm of fitting me with new glasses, they took the time to help track my lost purse! Even after I had left the office, Mike was still contemplating possible choices not yet considered. As a result, upon my return, he had another frame for me to try…Guess what?!..You know it…!! THAT frame was THE ONE!! A big THANK YOU to everyone ☺️

Multiple visits for minor repairs to wife's glasses and each time we have been treated with courtesy, warmth and straight to the point professionalism. We have never been made to wait or book an appointment, instead the quality work is done promptly but with patience and precision so that my wife always leaves satisfied with the way her glasses feel and the way she sees with thim. Exceptional staff, quality work, a large variety of frames and all at a comfortable downtown location. Why go anywhere else?

I was welcomed as soon as the door opened. Dorothy and front end staff were full of compliments about my glasses even though I definitely didn't buy them there. The optometrist was friendly and engaging. Because on how welcomed I felt I'll definitely come back for my eye prescription next year. Their glass Frames selection seem to good with differing price points. Ultimately the friendly staff won me over.

Andrew helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses today. Super friendly and helpful. My business is with the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce and he managed to take off some $$$ from my order.The receptions are sweethearts, the doctor is personable and passionate about his job.

I had a great experience at IRIS Nanaimo for my annual contact lens check yesterday! There was a warm friendly welcome as I walked in, then the tests on the machines with Dorothy who explained everything so well and was very helpful! My actual exam with Dr Anoushehpour was great and he made sure I understood everything and answered all of my questions. Definitely recommend going to see the fantastic staff at IRIS!
