A awesome lounge to relax and chill out at and socialize and be friendly and joke around and make friends and play a nice game of pool and the food is the same as the Flying Canoe Pub and the loving -loyal-caring-hard working staff featuring the 1 and only Robert and the 1 and only Birendra and the 1 and only Josh are always happy to serve their customers with very big smiles on their faces. There is a very diverse selection of music played featuring Country-Top 40-Blues and a little dose of heavy metal on the side. Come on down and relax at the Chalk lounge and have some fun and the lounge manager Todd who is also the manager of the Flying Canoe Pub looks like Shaggy from the cartoon Scooby Doo. This place has the best service in town! Great place to sit and chat or play a game of pool. Comfortable seating area next to the bar by the fire. Music isn't over powering so you're still able to have a conversation. Jamie and Lisa are amazing and have the best service. Very friendly, personable people that understand customers. They'll be greatly missed!

Chalk has really gone downhill. They've removed two of their pool tables and dramatically changed the lounge for the worse. We've tried to go to play some pool numerous times and have been unable to play or even sit inside. Don't waste your time with this establishment, they have lost whatever love they had for the people who visit.

Attended a meeting here a few nights ago...great value provided for our group in a burger and beer special. Nice spot to have a rendezvous with friends.

Came in on a Sunday evening. For a while we were the ONLY people in the lounge, and yet we sat with empty glasses for nearly 20 minutes. Other reviewers are right, the music is not overpowering. Music all seemed to be “Today’s Hits”: would have been nice to have more of a mix of new and old.Convenient for pool, but the service was just atrocious. Would not recommend.

Nice place to sit, but the armchairs make it hard to talk. Service is reasonable but it is necessary to get their attention.

It has same menus of Flying Canoe West Coast Pub which is nice because you could come here if Flying Canoe West Coast Pub is busy or closed for an event. It doesn’t get that busy which is nice. The service was kinda of slow but server / bartender on December 2, 2022 was super friendly and nice and he made up for slowness.
