Mitra is a very friendly and supportive health care professional that I met with my two pregnancies. She is well experienced and provided super midwifery services throughout my milestones in becoming a mother of two.

Our experience with Mitra as our midwife was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, concise and very professional at our appointments. Mitra was calm and collected during labour and respected our birth plan. Mitra is the best! Recommend 100%. I just gave birth to my first in September, and from the get go, Mitra was so on top of everything. From our first phone call, my husband and I were very confident that we wanted the more intimate care from a midwife instead of an OB. Throughout my pregnancy, Mitra gave us lots of guidance and advice that resulted in a smooth and very fast delivery to a healthy baby girl. We had a good number of face-to-face meetings, and she always made herself available for questions, which was especially comforting when I caught covid early on during my first trimester. The post-partum care we have received from Mitra has been even more impressive than the prenatal care. As first-time parents, we really don't know what we're doing. Since Mitra is a lactation consultant, the framework for feeding she gave us ensured milk supply is good for baby and us parents still get a reasonable amount of sleep. For weeks after birth, she has been checking in and meeting with us to ensure both baby's growth and my recovery is going well. We're going to miss having her guidance once the 6-weeks postpartum period is over. If you're looking for a midwife, Mitra is the way to go!

As a first time mom, me and my husband felt very blessed to have Mitra as a midwife and lactation consultant. As immigrants, we felt a bit insecure about health care and the birth experience here in general, but Mitra informed us and was very caring every step of the way. She is extremely knowleadgeable, caring and responsive. In my pregnancy I had a few unexpected conditions, such as covid and breech baby, but she was present from the first trimester to delivery. She's always prioritized the baby's and mother's health and helped us make informed decisions and prepared us for a c-section delivery. I wouldn't change anything in my pregnancy and delivery experience.
