I was informed by the city that this is the company performing construction in our residential neighborhood hired by the city. Construction hours are SUPPOSED to be 7:30am start at the earliest according to the construction signs and the city. We're continuously being woken up earlier and earlier the longer this project goes on. Our neighborhood is being woken up 6am and earlier by the metal grouser tracks from the excavators tires screeching and grinding on the paved road RIGHT outside our bedroom windows EVERY DAY. Jack hammering and cutting down trees are other ungodly noises waking us up right outside our window way before 7:30am. Ear plugs do not drown out their noise.Furthermore when they dug huge pits in the ground at the entrance of our road, there was no road closed sign or heads up so residents trying to return to their homes were forced to awkwardly try and turn around back onto the main road. Heads up about our road entrance being closed woulda been nice... They do not seem to have any consideration for the resident's livelihood that have to work weekends and only get the odd weekday to try and catch up on rest but are being woken up well before 7:30am.I understand construction needs to be done but c'mon there's people trying to live and sleep in their own homes here, stick to your construction hours that you set and stop waking up the entire neighborhood at 6:30am with Jack hammering!!Contractors be warned, you will more than likely have angry residents that are being woken up before construction hours that you'll have to deal with.
