Le Portneuvois Hotel

Good location. Very quiet, basic accommodation. Could have used a better vacuum around the edges of the room but generally clean. Friendly hosts. A little musty even after we had our a/c unit running. The main entry doors were propped open when we arrived due to the heat so there were a few flying insects inside the foyer which was a bit of a turn off.

The one thing I can say was good is the cleanness. The double occupency rooms had 2 double beds. The table in my room was a folding party table with 2 kitchen chairs. A microwave and a toaster was in the hallway. The Ice box had no ice and diffrent Icecream containers on top. The water was yellowish and in some rooms plain yellow my friend said. The person at the front desk as a hard time understanding and speaking both english and french. An other customer told me that is bed was a boxspring only (no matress on top) and when he told them they said that they could give him a new room for a 20$ fee. No bar, no restaurent, not even an information booklet for some either. Oh and they have internet acces but the signal is too week to connect to. So if you just want a place to sleep maybe consider it , but to tell you the truth a tad expencive for just that.

For a 2 star hotel, its ok. Wifi is not protected though so i hope you have a lot of data, a VPN and hot spot your phone.

Hotel was great. Lovely area and view. Very peaceful at night.

Good value for money and clean washroom. Beds are little old but okay.

clean and spacious rooms, but too expensive for what you get. windows don't open so the only way to keep the room from getting stuffy is to turn on the fan or a/c on the in-room unit.

Never again, manager up front VERY UNFRIENDLY. And the room smelled like dog urine. I would rather drive 30 min. back to Québec city and sleep there. Oh well, live and learn.

Clean room, nice people and cheap. If don't have too many budget or can't find room in tje city, I recommend here

This place was very clean. But very outdated. The furnishings looked like they were from the early 90's. The beds werent very comfortable. Thank God I brought my own pillows. It was quite expensive and out of the way for the quality. Quiet and nice but not worth the $$ in my opinion 160$ a night.
