RBC Royal Bank

Only 1 teller and the line up out the door. Like come on people have things to do and no one comes out to help. RBC needs a better experience inside the branch. Waiting in line for 40 mins is not okay. I had no choice to go into the branch because I can’t deposit US funds at the ATM.

I have both a chequing and savings with them My chequing account does not have chèques with it as it is not that type. After several years of being a customer. I was disappointed in the way my problem was dealt with. I check my accounts everyday. I woke up Tuesday to find that someone cashed à chèque for 678.00 on my acct. They took ally money plus charged me a five dollar fee for the chèque. I called the 1800 number at 6:30 in the morning before work. Then called my branch after work. The signature on the chèque was not mine. It was made out to à landscape company. I said first off Red flag.I do mot have chèques. second flag not my signature but my account. So they think someone was careless and mixes up number. was told the bank manager or assistant one would contact me. Nope not one word. I was even given her number. Left 2 voice-mails. She never replied. It took me Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Before my money was returned plus cancelled that 5.00 chèque over draft. I think I will be going to another company. I am disappointed that I had to threatened that my money be in my acct by Thursday.

This is the worst RBC branch I have ever seen. Every time you go there is a loooong line up and not enough staff. I hate going to that branch. Try to avoid it, or prepare to waste an hour waiting for your turn.

Super long line. Only one representative is in the front to help lol. It is a shame that this is the only rbc around upperjames. Employees are doing simple actions forever without helping too much.

That short hair white woman, always sitting in the right table is sooo rude and mean and probably racism. She was like refusing to help me with my problems. I went to find her twice, she said she mailed my form but I think she didn’t because my form was not delivered after 2 weeks. When I come again, she refused to help me and saying that she just can’t do anything. But I went to another branch at Main Street, they helped me with patient, all the methods she said she can’t was available at Main Street branch. I think she's racist, and she treats me badly because she thinks I'm young and tries to put me off.

Always long waiting line and only 1 or 2 employees working behind counter. Remaining all busy in gossip . TD and CIBC Always 0 waiting time.I thought rbc don't have any interest to solve the customer problems

This place is so sad, I've tried to come 4 times now and every time, there's been a line to the door. Today took 25 minutes just to get to a teller. Nothing could make me want to change banks more..

dont recommend this bank to anyone if you want personal service where the financial advisors actually give you the best advice that fits your needs. I made an appointment in January 2022 to renew my mortgage 120 days early because rates were expected to go up according to the Bank of Canada. The rate I was offered was actually higher than what I was currently paying. So the advisor said why don't you go with a variable rate for now and we can lock you in to a fixed rate in May before the rates go up" I agreed because it was much lower. By the end of February I was getting nervous

DO NOT BANK HERE. Worst banking experience. Ankido.S ignores his clients and overbooks his calendar so when you show up for your appointment, he says, “there is no appointment.”Goodluck complaining to another bank advisor about it— they will just give you attitude and tell you theres no appointments for the week.
