Markham Civic Centre Skating Rink

Love this place for ice-skating. They have a zamboni working to keep the link on a good quality. For the skates rental, you gotta pay 15$/2hrs and you need an ID. If the link has some kind of protection covering the round curbside, that would make this place a perfect one for your winter outdoor activities.

Great ice, nice tunes and friendly people whenever we've come. If you come on a weekday, it's super quiet (other than March break) so that's the best time to enjoy it!

Just love it. It has big parking lot. There is skate rental. There are benches to sit and change the skates and for people to sit and watch. It is a great outdoor activity for both adults and kids. Great family outdoor activity.

Great place to walk and chill. Well maintained

We went on weekdays at different times, first around 10ish am, second around noon time. And I was a bit surprised there are quite some people too. The skate shoes rental is only opened on Friday evening till weekends! The place is fairly clean and quite well-maintained! We had family fun here! Some private instructors use here to teach skate lessons!

I love this place more than a fat kid loves cake! It's spacious enough to make all my skate tricks look amazing. Yo, I can't even begin to recommend it highly enough - you've gotta check it out for yourself!

Came here on Saturday around 6pm. Chilly but it is free. Shoe rental $15 for 2 hours. I probably will purchase or bring my own shoe next time.

Pretty fun place! Ample amount of parking spaces. Its super fun skating during the winter time. And its really relaxing during the summer time if you want to sit down on benches and chill out in front of the water fountain.

They are closed 8 days a week 25 hours a day. if you want to skate here go on the weekends mid day or the arena will be closed. First time came on Monday at around 9 am, it was closed but at least it was on their hours of operation. (Why anyone would close an outdoor skating arena overnight I don't know) next time i came on Thursday at 8 pm, 2 hours before their closing time, according to their page it was open, however on arrival I was once again greeted with a locked gate. When I do get to skate here (ie. weekends at 2pm) the ice is sub par, however due to the amount of people this is to be expected. Nothing much to say really except this is a weekends only arena
