I am totally biased - this is my brother's store. He has an excellent collection of sustainable products for the home. He makes many of the cleaning and skincare products himself, so he can tell you exactly what's in it and exactly why it's there. It's a bit of a running joke, but I really love the wooden dish washing brushes. I used to use plastic ones and they always got gross relatively quickly especially if you washed anything with tomato sauce. I have been using the same wooden brush for two years and it shows no signs of letting up. It looks and smells fine. The only thing is you have to hang it to dry after each use and absolutely can't leave it in a sink full of water for hours. Just like a good cutting board, the wood will expand and crack and with the brush, all the bristles will fall out.

I recently ordered some wooden baby toys from here, after I think finding the website through Google. I would say that both the quality of the products and the customer service are among the best I've EVER experienced. Locals should consider themselves lucky!

Emerson Supply is one of my favourite eco stores. Dan's new location is gorgeous and I love all of his products, especially the new Josephine line and the bulk refill options. I would recommend this store to anyone.

Really nice place. I've collected some soap bottles to refill and hope I can make it down there soon. I've been looking for a Bulk Barn style store for shampoos and stuff for a while now. Good to have this here!

Emerson Supply Co & Sidecar Collective
This is my go-to spot for household and beauty refills. I get my shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body scrubs and laundry detergent here. Dan has a great little collection of sustainable goods (food products, kids toys, beauty items, accessories etc) and a bulk refill station so you can bring in your own containers and enjoy zero waste shopping.
