I cannot put into words how wonderful Josh and Trevor have been. I lost my 37 year old husband last week. I’m still running and fumes and feeling numb but the compassion and professionalism Trevor and josh have shown me has been astounding. I can’t imagine entrusting anyone else with my husband during this time than them. They continue to show compassion even after the funeral, and I can honestly say I believe they put people and families before money and sales.I watched Josh’s (the funeral director) work at my grandmothers funeral in November and KNEW he was the guy I needed to hire for my husbands service. He did not disappoint. He’s like a breath of fresh air in your darkest time, and his presence makes you at ease. Just like Trevor.I remember leaving the funeral home the day after my husband’s passing completely at ease because I knew Josh and Trevor would take good care of my husband and my wishes.Josh even allowed my 8 year old to help with the service, which is absolutely priceless.You won’t be sorry if you chose then with your loved one.

My wife Tammy and I were unexpectedly having to deal with the passing of her father on new year's eve (2021) in Nova Scotia. There was nothing was planned in advance, no will in place, funds set aside, my father-in-law lived very modestly. We were sensitive to the costs. I picked 6 facilities to contact to do my best to find the best solution. out of sheer luck, T.J. Tracey was on the list that I created to contact. I had only found one provider who listed any prices on their website and for the basic cremation with no service, the cost was $2,200.00 plus tax, so I figured that in the worst case scenario that would be the one we would choose if we couldn't find a better price. the 1st provider I reached out to, quoted me a base price of $4,500.00 for the basic cremation with no services, which took the wind out of my sails and led me to believe that we would in all likelihood be reaching out to the one for $2,200.00. The 2nd provider was around the $3,500.00 mark, but both of the first 2 providers I reached out to were non-personal and you could smell the fakeness of compassion with simply the sale amount being the important part of the conversation adding a sour taste to the dealings with these people"

100 Stars!! Wow, the folks & service at T.J. Tracey are absolutely amazing!! They are so professional & extremely nice & so caring every single step of the way & so incredibly helpful with contacting all of the government agencies on your behalf plus provide all of the other organizations that need to be contacted that you would never even think of & all of that at MORE THAN HALF THE PRICE OF EVERY OTHER FUNERAL HOME in the HRM!!I can't even imagine anyone going anywhere other than T.J. Tracey for a zillion reasons!! Plus they worked into the evenings to get everything done for us like submitting the Obituaries to their website & the newspaper etc. as quickly as possible too which was so incredibly amazing.Josh went above & beyond for us which I'm sure that he does for every single one of his clients which is so impressive & so very muchly appreciated. Knowing the service level & how extremely wonderful these folks are, anyone going anywhere else is a complete waste of time & a complete waste of a lot of money by paying so much more to go elsewhere!! After speaking with a couple of Funeral Homes in Halifax before we contacted T.J. Tracey & being so turned off by how we were spoken to by people with personalities of wet socks & no empathy whatsoever (which is so mind blowing to me!) & wanting literally thousands more dollars for far less service on top of that, is what led us to discover T.J. Tracey & very thankful for that needless to say.LOOK NOT FURTHER, SERIOUSLY!! These are the people you want to help you with it all!!Thank you so much T.J. Tracey!!
