Moved here a year ago and I have to say we will never look back, they are organized and professional. There is technique in recreational classes which is lacking at many other studios. After one year here we feel like we have been here forever, everyone is so welcoming. All teachers are qualified and the studio is always clean. Most important is my daughter is progressing more here in one year than she has elsewhere over a number of years. Highly recommend them!

It was a lot different for me when I was in dance as a child, way better for me tbh. They are not very personable and every communication is done online. The pictures she took came out awful, terrible lighting and they shot her without smiling, it felt very rushed it was way more professional for me when I was a dancer. At one point they wanted us to purchase new ballet slippers and and dye them purple ourselves to match the outfit. Parents complained and they changed their minds last minute. I had a hard time developing a good connection with the teachers because it was very in and out and go. The blonde older woman who sits at the front ( I believe she is the owner) isnt very friendly or approachable she kind of just gives you a cold scare which made my skin crawl. They were constantly doing raffles and selling pizza and baked goods which I felt took away from the main purpose which is dance.

By far the Best Dance Studio in Toronto. My daughter has been with TDI since she was 3 and a half years old. She is now 11. The staff are very professional, and friendly. They instructors have a genuine desire to see all their students succeed and perfect their dance techniques. Albeit some challenges with the Virtual platform, TDI put in a valiant effort to offer virtual classes during the covid-19 pandemic. Katherine, the Receptionist is so sweet, and Monika the Director is very knowledgeable, kind, transparent with policies and procedures, and promptly responds to inquiries and/or concerns. Keep up the good work TDI!

Rip offs and scammers. They make you pay a costume deposit for a young child who you don't know will like the class at the beginning of the year and you don't get that money back even though the child is not participating.

I highly recommend this dance industry.... it is very warm and welcoming .... the teachers are amazing and patient. my daughter enjoys being a part of the TDI family an experience like no other .

I was one of Monika's first dance students back in 1988 and she was as professional and as talented then. She would always strive to be tops and believes in her students. I remember my solo classes when I was about 9, she pushed me to be my best and really raised the bar!All the best,Nicole P.

I highly recommend Toronto Dance Industry. My daughter has attended this school for one year now and she absolutely loves her dance classes. She looks forward to going every week. I really love that this school is a family-friendly, multi-cultural environment. The staff are kind and helpful and the instructors are incredibly talented. I really like that you can watch the classes on monitors from their spacious lounge, as well as from a large window at each studio. Fees are also paid every few months instead of all upfront. Whether you plan to take recreational or competitive classes, Toronto Dance Industry is the best school in Toronto. Although we drive from Whitby (45 minutes each way), we will definitely be back in September because this school is that just that great. Thank you Toronto Dance Industry!

This place has excellence on different dance classes, from classic ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern jazz, contemporary and modern dance.Family atmosphere and all levels, toddlers, kids, young, adult an senior classes available.Great and professional final show performance at the end of the cycle where family and friends can attend.The best dance academy near Scarborough.Parking available 15 car spots.Quiet neighborhood.

This will be my daughter's 5th year dancing at Toronto Dance Industry. Her 3rd year dancing in the Competitive Program. She has grown so much in the past few years. She has learned so much more then dance. She has learned to cheer on other dancers and be happy for them even if they beat her. She has learned perseverance and that working hard pays off. She has made many great friends along the way. Toronto Dance Industry is full of staff that are knowledgeable and helpful and the fellow parents are amazing. I know that I would never have made it through 2 competitive dance seasons without all of them. It is a friendly and welcoming place to be and we are all the better for being there. I think we all as a family has learned a lot these past few years and look forward to many more. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

We moved our daughter to this studio a year ago and she is much happier with the teachers and the dances she does.We feel welcome here.
