Willowbrae Academy Etobicoke

We have had a fantastic experience with Willowbrae! We have always gotten the impression that the teachers are really invested in our kids. Any time there was a concern with an allergic reaction or an injury we've been notified and given details promptly. The staff have worked with us through every transition and are very responsive and professional. It's quite expensive but it's high quality with great programming. Super nice facility and play yard as well.

Incredible staff and teachers that truly care about children. My son attended Willowbrae when he turned 12 months and he had never been happier going to the daycare every morning. He was so well loved and taken care of, the teachers were attentive to his needs as he has eczema / allergies and is required special care. His infant classroom was always well staffed, the children were engaged in plays and interactions through out the day. Any time a child was upset the staff would always comfort them ensuring they receive undivided attention and most of all making them feel safe. Highly recommended this wonderful place!

My son attended this daycare from the time he was one until he was almost 2.5 years old. Overall, our experience was very positive. The Pros: the director and assistant direct (Laurie and Valerie) are so professional and responsive. Emails are responded to promptly, issues and questions are dealt with seriously. They work with you to ensure your child is doing well. The facility is really nice (great job Laurie who designed layout). The outdoor area is quite large and well kept. The main complaint i have ever had is the staff turnover which at times hasn't been the best. I will say though that the majority of the staff are kind, helpful and are so great with the kids. They work so very very hard. My son was so fond of them all. They all knew my son's name and said hello every time they saw him even when he wasn't in their own classes. Their app is very good and they give progress reports in various categories. I appreciated the cameras so very much (we don't have them at the daycare I am at now and miss seeing my son play and interact with his peers). So if you choose to attend, you are truly in good hands with the leadership they have running that location. We will and do miss that daycare tremendously.

Exceptional day care! Super clean and the teachers / administrators are professional and friendly. Our son was at Willowbrae for 8 months till we will unfortunately have to move him to a daycare closer to our home..we have no complaints and would highly recommend Willowbrae (they are slightly more expensive than other daycares but the quality is definitely there). We are sad to change daycares.Huge shout out to Laurie / Siji / Tamera.

My 2 year old daughter was in Willowbrae Academy Etobicoke for nearly 1 year and I had a pleasant experience with the facilities and staff here. They took utmost care of my daughter's needs and after the 1st month, I was relaxed enough to not view her in the live camera. They are very understanding and partnered with me and my resource consultant to give my daughter what she needed the most. I will recommend this child care center for any parent.

My 18 month old daughter has been attending Willowbrae academy Etobicoke and I just can't say enough nice things about the place. The director is very diligent, friendly, and accessible. The staff is really nice and treats my daughter like their own. In just 4 days my toddler adjusted to the transition and loved arriving to the academy. I kept track of her through the webcams and was delighted with how well the teachers treated the children. The place is always clean and full of fun activities. The food is healthy and the menu is wide. I recommend this place 100%.

I was always skeptical about daycare (my children had a nanny when they were very young), but our experience at Willowbrae Etobicoke was very positive. My daughter was in the preschool program and loved the activities, her teachers and classmates. My son, who has ADHD, was in after school care. He can be a challenging kid, and I found that the staff was communicative and supportive. The Centre always seemed clean and professionally run, and I really liked the app which allowed me to see my kids live in camera, know their daily menu, and get notes from the day. We have moved from the area but I would (& have) recommend(ed) Willowbrae Etobicoke to other families seeking high quality care.

We’ve been so thrilled with Willowbrae and the entire team. Our little one was enrolled in their care for close to two years and each day was wonderful.The teaching staff is kind, warm and diverse. They are knowledgeable on teaching methods and learning/achievement goals for each age groups. I really felt like they loved the kids which made me comfortable to leave each day.The administration is polite, and accommodating. They respond to all questions and concerns promptly and really went out of their way on a few occasions to help us out. They managed the chaos and unpredictability of Covid with transparency and compassion.Our little one was graduated on and we will miss the place enormously.

We have had a positive experience at Willowbrae in the Toddler and Pre-School program. The staff and management have been very accommodating of us. They truly care about the well-being of each student. Programming decisions have always been made for our son based on his best interests. There is open communication between staff and parents through the Willowbrae app, daily progress reports, and monthly parent-teacher interviews. It is a difficult decision to send your child to daycare during a pandemic but they have gained and maintained our trust. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Willowbrae Academy Etobicoke location!

I had two children at Willowbrae (infant and preschool). The level of service is outstanding. Both of my kids learned, developed and had so much fun. The staff is very upbeat and amazing with the kids; they truly care and give the children the attention they deserve. The facility is clean, the playground is private from any onlookers. The daily reports are very detailed. Having the live camera when you are missing your kids throughout the day is life changing. The building security is the best you will find. I had good piece of mind knowing that my children were safe at Willowbrae. Truly a great experience with nothing bad to report. Highly recommend!
