Arnold C. Matthews Nature Reserve

Very nice trail but in the last year or two has gotten a lot busier. Annoying things are usuals who don't like off leash dogs. York region has this trail, and two forests that allow off leash dogs. Literally every other trail mandates dogs to be on leash. If you're scared of dogs, or your dog is reactive and you don't want to meet off leash dogs, try one of the other hundred trails in York region. Stop coming here and freaking out at dog owners when you see off leash dogs...I've literally seen the same few people freak out at everyone around them for their dogs being off leash...come on.

Amazing place. Stunning vistas. Felt like I was transported to a different time, different world!Would love to see it in the fall.

Nice trials for quiet and adventurous family walks we went on family day for something to do and had a good time!

This is a lovely walking trail for nature lovers. It is NOT an off-leash dog park no matter how well behaved you think your dog is. This ruins the experience for well behaved hikers and dog walkers alike.

It's a very nice property to walk through. Met lots of people along the trails. A few nice dog off leash, and nice dogs on leash.

Love this place, Keswick's very own trail. During the pandemic this has been lightly traveled. No worrys about city slickers coming all up in here.... Here.

Amazing hiking trails that are a hidden treasure! I even questioned writing a review for fear of spreading the word about this place, but nature is best shared with respectful neighbours! Come, enjoy, and leave no trace :)

I am finally embracing Canadian winters and enjoying winter walks in the forestSummer Update: Another great day in the forest. I must say I prefer winter walks since there are no worries of ticks and the mosquitoes are sleeping. Would it be rude of me to ask that people please clean up your dogs poo which I believe is trail etiquette. Happy trails.
